Intro
In 1945, government agencies were set up to capture certain people with special abilities. Some of them could move objects with their minds, others could see the future. Those people were used for combat in the war, but it was disregarded after the war was over. Little under half a decade later, another agency was set up. This one was called Division, and it was designed to capture these people for the same reason. Warfare. The biggest difference: they killed those who were unwilling to cooperate.
Division soon developed a drug that they tested on these people that was supposed to boost their powers. The agency wanted to used to people to create the most commanding army the world has ever seen. But so far, none were to have survived this drug. Until one girl finally broke through the pain the drug caused, and realized what was happening. Afterwards, she ran away. Division has been on the move for this girl ever since.
The girl gives these people, these simple people with the most uncanny powers, hope. They believe they can stop Division from hurting and killing any more of these innocent civilians. But Division is all over the world, hunting these people down like animals to use them, and, if necessary, kill them. Because anyone, anyone at all who stands in their way--whether they have these ablilites or not--will be destroyed.
Powers
Movers--these people are telekenetics. They move things with their minds, which can be objects or, in the case of Division, other people.
Watchers--these people see the future. The problem is, the future can change. Bear in mind it can change, but that doesn't always mean it will. Some watchers, however, only see the future based on your decisions.
Sniffers--they see the history of an object by lightly sniffing it. Advanced sniffers are able to see the history just by touching it, but that is very rare as it takes a considerable amount of practice.
Shifters--they can temporarily change the shape or appearence of an object.
Shaders--these people can hide things with their minds from Sniffers who are tracking it. It only works by hiding the history, so if a sniffer casually wanders by it, the appearence is still there.
Wipers--they wipe your memory as far back as you want or as far as they desire. Once the wiping is done, you fall to the ground and wake up, remembering only what was left.
Pushers--they make their thoughts your own. Say, if they wanted you to think that you had a family, even though you were or an orphan, you would think that you had a family until they pushed differently. Sometimes, as Division often does, they make you kill yourself because they push the desire into you.
