Well to make a long story short:
They meet in the Sarafan.
He proposes then gets killed by himself.
She becomes Sarafan General.
He comes back thanks to Kain.
Raziel kills Marian and she dies in his arms.
She is reborn as a vampire and takes her rightful place finally as his wife.
All this is within I believe maybe 2000 years =/

Wow. So there's plenty of angsting going around in that one. Or it was probably one of those 'OMG what a coincidence!' things.
Although, that doesn't quite make any sense time-wise. I don't want to seem like a nitpicker, but Kain raised his empire after the fall of the second sarafan, WAAAAAAAY after the inquisitors died. How did she live that long?
...Damn I wish I owned a headband like that. Kickass.

Well in the process of trying to find a way for her husband to come back to life she granted herself immortality to keep up with the research and that's why she manages to live so long
