Jizabel sighed as he walked calmly into the front doors of Headquarters, tired and dragging his feet slightly. "My God..." he sighed, sitting in a vacant arm chair and rubbing his temples. "What a tiring day..."

Anius kicked the door open, sulking into headquarters, bypassing Jizabel. "Frigging earl didn't drink my potion and now he's taunting me with shiny jewels..." The Hermit mumbled.

The doctor looked at the newcomer out of the corner of his amethyst eyes, chuckling at his apparent misfortune. "Rough day?" he laughed mockingly, knowing all too well the frustration he felt.

Anius raised his silvery-white staff in warning. "Don't push my buttons. And yes, I did have a rough day. That bloody earl has shiny jewels I want," he said, watching the doctor with icy blue eyes.

Jizabel's chuckling never faltered, and he didn't look worried at all. "Calm down, my good sir. Wouldn't want me putting in a bad word with the Major Arcana, now would we?" He reclined in his seat, hands behind his head in a relaxed manner.

Anius rolled his eyes. "Oh please. That man doesn't frighten me. Besides, he chose me for my special skill set. He's not about to kick me out because you tattled."

Jizabel's grin faded as his patience was tried. "Don't get cocky. Delilah is much too dangerous a place for such arrogance," he growled calmly.

Laurana comes in through the large double-doors, entering the main hall of headquarters. She walked quickly to the front of the room where Alexis sits comfortably in his chair. She stops when she is just a few feet away from him. Not because she didn't want to get any closer but because Moon would not allow it. She looks at Alexis, her expression solemn. "Alexis" she is very brave to call him by his first name. "I was wondering if you might know where my parents are? They didn't come home last night and i thought that they might still be here..." She notices that Jizabel is not in the room and wonders where he might be at the moment...

Anius chuckled. "Aw, is the little doctor losing his temper. Poor thing. Don't get too carried away now~" Hermit mocked, raising an eyebrow and spinning his staff a little.

The doctor's temper flared even more at these words as he abruptly stood, looking icily into Anius's eyes. He spoke with a biting sarcastic tone, raising his eyebrows arrogantly and taking a step towards him. "Tell you what: instead of you mocking me for my temper, why don't you scamper off and find something shiny to occupy your already-wasted time?"

Anius chuckled. "Ah yes, right after you smother yourself with some more intestines. You may want to close your door the next time you do something involving your disgusting jarred organs," the man added, adjusting his white cloak. "Besides, at least my shinies don't smell of rot."

The doctor growled with bitterness and whipped a scalpel out of his coat, holding the blade against Anius's throat and gripping it tightly so it couldn't be knocked away. "I highly suggest you watch your tongue. You might not have it in the morning," he snarled dangerously, his voice still calm and collected.

Anius pushed the scalpel from his neck. "Ah ah ah~ Let's not dirty the floor, shall we? We don't want you to have to mop it up," the man smirked, walking passed the doctor and towards the large stairs.

Jizabel mumbled something vile under his breath and walked away, approaching his father's chamber with displeasure. He had to tell him where Cain's location was, after all. He came to the doorway and peered inside, seeing Laurana speaking with Alexis. What was she doing here? Putting his fear aside, he entered the room, walking to stand next to Laurana in front of his father.
