Today a family member had told me you can also develop diabetes by not eating enough,because it puts your body at constant low blood sugar and then when you eat it raises and your body isnt used to it and eventually it will damage your body.
im just curious because she told me that it happend to someone she knew. Is it true?

I've never heard of it, but I'm betting it's an old wives tale. You know, like the ones that say you get diabetes from eating too many sweets? Your genetic make-up determines whether or not you'll get diabetes. It's a hereditary disease, meaning your actions generally can't prevent you from getting it or cause you to get it.
