Background.
● [ Background ] Lau was born into a poor and destitute household. His parents sold him to a slave house in the slums of China when he turned five, partially because they were poor, and partially because of the wings on his head. When he was thirteen, the slave house sold him to a brothel, where he worked as a male prostitute until he ran away when he was fifteen. After that he came to live with a friend, Xiao Lang, and stayed at his house until he was about eighteen, and then moved to Japan, where he became a watercolour painter. Eventually his works became famous and well-known, and spread back to his family in China, who were now well-off and raking in the profits from the father's job as a drug kingpin. Lau's family traveled to Japan to see him, but Lau forced them back out angrily. While he was living with Xiao, he fell in love with him, but was rejected straight off, and though Xiao wasn't harsh about it, Lau felt that he couldn't live there any longer, and that's the reason why he left.

Personality.
● [ Personality ] He's very intense, usually smiling with a scary sort of smirk, and likes to have things his way. His paintings are usually of nature, but every once in a while, when he gets angry, he'll paint something bloody or gothic. He is usually very calm and collected, and he never gets upset, only angry. Eventually Lau means to take revenge on his family for selling him into slavery, but for now he just lives in his elaborate, extravagant house in Japan. He loves flirting, especially with men, and usually has a different lover every few days. He is not used to being rejected, which is why Carson St. Clair irritates him. He is still in love with Xiao, after ten years.
● [ Likes ] Xiao, flirting, painting, warm weather, men, women, drinking, birds.
● [ Dislikes ] Anything out of the norm, cold weather, ramen, Carson.
● [ Song ] "Right Round" by Flo Rida.
