It didn't take long for Sario to find a servant and request a room, trying all that time to keep up her strength. No one else would know, and this was temporary. Walking in a small furnished bedroom, alone now, the Maia let herself fall onto the bed. She laid there for a minute before curling up on her side, grabbing a pillow to put underneath her head. She didn't realize how much it actually hurt until she was indeed alone and out of sight from Legede. He could feel her emotions, but she would not let him see how they affected her. Crying, the woman burried her face into the pillow to muffle her sobs. It was fair. There was nothing wrong with it but it still felt as if they had broken up, and she found it hard to control herself.

Sario turned onto her back after a few minutes, her vision blurry as she gazed upward with bloodshot eyes. Her hands were folded ontop of her chest, breathing returning to normal. The woman sighed softly, laying there as she let her mind wearily turn over the recent events that had happened to them all. These emotions were tiring, but familiar. She had not felt so broken since her acceptance back into Emyn Uial.
"Sario?" came Y'veridan's voice as Gandalf stopped his wagon inside the community. Again the elf had to endure confused and surprised stares from everyone until they came to the Elder. Turning empty eyes to the elf, she did nothing more to show that she acknowledged him. In truth she was fighting not to cry, not to break down in front of the town. "She is weary," came the wizard's response, lowering the reins to the pony. "Her trip back has not been a pleasant one." Y'veridan made his way over to her side, placing a hand on own, which had been gripped together tightly in her lap. "Is she alright?" "She will be, after some rest." "Sario..." "Looks like you were right after all," her voice was harsh, bitter as she recoiled from him. She watched as his face softened, though the brown eyes reflected some hurt. They both knew what she spoke of, and possibly even Gandalf. Talli, her having given up her whole life and home to be with the rogue. He had urged her to not go, and to forget him. She was stubborn, and that would be her downfall. He sighed, "Sario...Don't be like this." "Be like what? Everything that you wanted? To be wrong, stupid, and dependent upon this cursed realm?" the young woman stood up, green eyes flashing. Her ranting was cut off when Gandalf put a gnarled hand on her shoulder. "Calm yourself. Child. Don't cause more pain than what there is," his voice was soothing and immediately her anger was replaced with shame. "Now, go get some rest while I discuss with Y'veridan the matters of your training." The elder's mouth fell open, staring at her. Sario didn't respond anymore, instead walked off the wagon and left the two men behind. She didn't really care anymore.

Sario heard her door open, jerking the woman from her thoughts. Sitting up, she saw Talli. In his hands he carried a tray of food, lembas bread and some soup. Still leftovers created by Elladan from the kitchen. He smiled slightly, closing the door behind him with his foot and walked over to the bed. "Hey you...I figured you'd be hungry and you know...Gain back your strength," he stopped, looking over her face. His eyes caused her to flinch. "Sar? What's up?" It never ceased to amaze her how Talli managed to find the Maia and sense out her problems. She stared at the food, then looked up at the rogue. "I...Legede..." "What about him?" he asked, setting the tray on the floor. Feeling the tears well up, Sario quickly blurted it out before she would get lose in her emotions again. "We...Decided to take a break." His eyes widened, staring at her. "Oh Sario...I'm sorry." "It's okay," she shook her head, drawing her knees up to her chest. "We figured that putting our love on hold...It'd help us defeat Melkor..." By now her voice was breaking and she was crying. "Lesson our weaknesses." He put an arm around her shoulders, hugging the woman as she finally had her breakdown. "Shhh...It's okay." "No it isn't!" she sobbed, "It hurts to breathe, Talli...It hurts so bad." Her voice was lost by now in her tears and he just let her get it all out.

Talli set Sario down on the pillows, pulling a blanket up around her form. Brushing back some of her curls, his gloves dried off the tears that stained her cheeks. "Here..." he bent down to pick up the tray and set it on the stand next to her head. "No sense to wasting the food. Who knows, this might be what you need to get to feeling better." She just watched him with pale green eyes. He sighed, picking up a piece of lembas bread, breaking off a small piece and dipping it into one of the bowls of soup. Holding it up to her lips, he waited for her to take it. She didn't. "Sar...Don't make me feed you. I know it hurts, but you can't just mope around until Melkor shows up. You need your strength." She still wouldn't respond. Just laid there, staring at him. Rolling his eyes, Talli put his other hand underneath her neck and lifted her head up. "You're like a child sometimes, I swear, luv," he grumbled, gently putting the food into her now opened lips. She swallowed, before letting out a small smile. "And you're still gullible." Sitting up, she reached for the bowl while he regarded her with a look of surprise. Her grin was gone as soon as it came, and the Maia ate in silence. Then he laughed, shaking his head and grabbing his own share of food. They didn't speak anymore, except at one point Sario stopped to look at him. "Thank you," came a soft voice and all he did was nod back before they resumed to eating their meal.

Sario was finished with her food first so she just sat there, waiting for Talli to finish. It didn't take long for him to anyways. "You never answered my question," she announced, taking a pillow and hugging it. "What?" the rogue blinked, setting his bowl onto the tray. "About me healing you, once all of this is over with." Her eyes were focused on him, a little glossy but other than that, there was no evidence of her crying. Suddenly it hit him. She wanted to try anything to keep her mind from going into a dark place. Even if it meant talking to him. At first this caused some anger and jealously to rise up in Talli's chest but then he set that aside. How else was she going to react? "I don't know..." he replied, getting up off of the bed and walked to the door, pondering. When he turned around to pace back, he looked at her and sighed. "It's appealing, and I can't lie about having not missed what it was like to be a Firstborn again but..." "But?" she tilted her head. "That's what I'm not so sure about. I've been this way for a long time that to return back to what I was...It's kind of scary. I forgot what it was like to feel elf to really..." he trailed off, other thoughts coming to mind. He had never really cared about changing back having grown accustomed to who he was. In truth, the only reason he wanted to be healed was to be with Sario and yet here she is, wanting to heal him even though she belonged to another. "I'm sorry, luv. I'll just have to think on it. Besides, it's not important," he gave a smile. "You should be focusing on the upcoming battle."

When Legede arrived at the Maia's room, he quickly knocked on the door. He did not want to simply burst in, but this was urgent. This had been the sign he was waiting for. "Sario!" he called, knocking again.

Sario jumped, standing quickly as the pillow slipped from her arms. Talli himself whirled around, more startled than she was since he was right next to the door. The rogue quickly crossed the room and went to the balcony. "I don't think he'd like seeing me here," he quickly stated, bringing the curtains together and closing the door. The Maia went to the door and let her hand rest on the wood. She took a deep breath, before letting her fingers grip the handle and opened the door to look at Legede. He seemed urgent. "What is it?"

"The sign." Legede answered, taking note of Sario's disheveled look and her slightly glassy expression. He said nothing of it however as he continued, "Rana is finished, but she helped Legolas to fall into a deep sleep. As I sat nearby, he started to whisper, "They are coming." and I believe that to be the sign we have waited for." the captain's expression was grim. "Melkor's army is nearing Eden Cuil, Sario. They will attack soon. We must prepare."

Sario glanced back into her room before she nodded. There was some worry in her features as she closed the door behind her. "This soon? I thought we would have a few days left..." she replied, looking back at Legede.

Legede sighed for a moment, "Well... I had thought so as well. I just... It seems I misinterrpreted a few things." he replied. "But we should have at least a few hours to prepare. However, with Legolas out of comission, that leaves myself to gather our forces. Aragorn will need to ready his men as well. I would ask Thranduil to take charge, but he has enough to worry about."

Smoothing back her hair, Sario herself let out a little sigh as she turned her attention to staring down the hallway. "Alright," she said, "Go and prepare, I will find Talli and get ready to face off against Nufeniel."

Sario waited until she was alone before turning around and opening the door. Talli took a step back, looking at her as their eyes locked. His gold ones flashed, deep in thought. "Looks like Nufeniel got tired of waiting," he mused, finally. "And Melkor grew tired of her complaining," the other remarked. This caused the rogue to grin involuntarily. "That's besides the point. Knowing the Sorceress, she probably took my army of orcs and you guys will need my help to be able to distinguish their tactics and know their weaknesses." The Maia nodded, "But their numbers are thin so most likely..." "She has also some undead warriors in there as well," he finished and watched her nod again, sighing. "Joy. ALright, alright...Lets go and get prepared then." He let Sario start walking ahead of him before he followed, after closing the door behind.

Sario returned to her own room, aided by a few servants since she had collapsed in the hallway halfway to her quarters. She kept the daggern hidden tightly in the sleeve of her dress, her other arm around the neck of an elf. Again they were kind not to question her condition and simply bided by her request to draw a bath for the woman. Set down on the bed, she waited for them to bed ready as the few servants went back and forth with the water. In no time they were done, and she thanked the men and women as they left the room, alone again. Shuffling to the next chamber, she closed the door and climbed into the bath, not undressing. Sitting down in the scalding hot water, her skirt bubbled up around her and she pushed it down, hair blowing out with the steam. Settling her head back against the edge, she let herself soak in. She didn't feel like taking off her clothes, and all she wanted to do was get rid of the feeling of being sick. The warmth settled her stomach, and she poured in some oils, more like mint. The woman also wanted to wash away how she also felt on the inside. Used. Dirty. Vile. But nothing worked, all she succeeded in was having her dressed possibly ruined and her skin turned red. Tears fell once more, a headache settling around her temples and eyes. Dropping the dagger down onto the floor, Sario let herself slide in the tub and her head get covered by the water, becomming totally submerged. Lying on the bottom, she let her eyes gaze up to the surface, her vision blurry. Faintly, she could see the water take on a pink tint, washing away the blood that was on her hands and some on her dress. There was clicking around her ears, but besides that perfect silence. She didn't sit back up, but continued to hold herself under, some bubbles escaping her nose and mouth now and then.

Legolia had been seeking out her father or brother. She had no idea it was so late in the evening, nor that there were hardly any others about. However, two servants caught her eye as she watched them talk in hushed tones in the corner. Walking up to them, Legolia had asked what they were doing. When she found out that it involved Sario, and that the woman had possibly felt ill or exhausted, the princess decided she should check on the Maia. Legolia made her way to Sario's room, but when she knocked, there was no answer. There was not even an answer when she called out for the woman. Frustrated, the blonde Elf opened the chamber door, only to see that there was no one inside. 'Perhaps the bathing chamber...' she thought, making her way there. There was nothing that could have prepared her for what she saw. Sario was underwater, as if in a daze, fully clothed. Legolia quickly went over to the inground tub, kneeling next to it "Sario?!" she called, reaching a lithe hand into the water to pull the Istar up.
