Yeah, so, like the title says, welcome to the official Power Rangers: Turbo discussion thread (I'm pretty sure there are other threads, besides the one I made, outside this guild dedicated in talking about the series; however, I'm making life easy for you by making one in HERE -- so deal. blaugh j/k
Oh, also since I'm sure one of you or some of you will feel compelled to "branch out" and start your own separate discussion thread about one of the series, which I guess is fine . . . but, yeah, that's why this one's called the "official" thread)!
Here, please feel free to (remember the rules/guidelines, first and foremost) talk to your heart's content about the series! 3nodding
So, for example, talk about how you hate the characters, but love the action/drama; or, how you think some episodes/the series in general should have gone, or WHATEVER! razz
Have fun (and remember: this is NOT an RPG thread, but just a general discussion for/about the original series, not fanfics)!

my favorite non couple came from this series (and blended into PR in Space) that would be Cassie the Pink Ranger and the Phanom Ranger. I kinda wish they had more interaction and that something would have happened at the end of PR in Space. I hear they shot a scene but it got cut >_<

Turbo is said to be the worst series, but I thought it was OK. I didn't like Alpha 6, but the whole car theme was cool and the fights were good in places.

I only liked Turbo when Tommy and all the Might Morphin peoples were on it when they graduated and the new people came in I didn't like that because non of them were cute.

It was okay I gues.. not the best though. the movie was good. I didn't like the Phantom Ranger much. The coolest part about it were the suits. Those were fly. The car idea was pretty cool.

I guess it is cool that it is the second and the so far last series to have a film.
But what made me appreciate this series was the season finale, Chase into Space. Basically, for those who haven't seen it, Divatox unleashes her most powerful monster ever, Goldgoyle, who's standard form is his giant form. The Rangers meet him in the Rescue Megazord, but all their attacks are useless. After the Rescue Megazord takesa beating, TJ decides to self destruct it on Goldgoyle, but the attack fails and is unharmed. The rangers then get out the Turbo Megazord, who is no match for Goldgoyle, and is destroyed. In a last desperate attempt, TJ rides Lightning Cruiser in the air and fires the Turbo cannon into Goldgoyle's mouth, finally destroying him, but at the cost of the 2 megazords.
At the command center, the rangers learn that eltar is under attack, and Dimitria goes with the Blue Centurian to help Zordon. Unfortunelty, Divatox spotted the rangers retreating to the power chamber, and launches a feiresome attack against it, capturing Lightning Cruiser and Storm Charger, and finally ending with the Power Chambers destruction, and the loss of the Turbo Rangers Powers. Divatox then flees to the Cimmerian Planet, where a gathering of evil is occuring. The rangers, minus Justin, chase after her into space, the end.
What I liked about the finale was how it really showed that sometimes, there is no refuge and sanctuary from evil, I mean look at it. The rangers tried to hide from Divatox in the Power Chamber, which was destroyed, and the next safest place would be Eltar, which is under seige.

Okay. So Turbo Rangers was were I began to lost my Power Ranger instinct. Justin, the blue ranger, was more than unbelievable. It was impossible. The random ranger shift bothered me. And Rocky's back injury pissed me off. He was a good Ranger and easilly could have outdone Justin. With all the mistakes these rangers made I'm suprised their 'zords' weren't trashed.

I didn't like Turbo that much compared to it's successor Power Rangers In Space.
I only liked the zords in this one.

With Power Rangers, the idea of instantly teleporting power suits and collosal assault vechiles are on the realm of impossible, so a shape-changing suit isn't too crazy. And as for Rocky being replaced, if the actor (Steve Cardanas, who's now retired from acting) wanted to leave the show, then apart from more money which doesn't always work, there's no way to make him stay.

Turbo is vastly overrated. As much as I like Katherine and Adam the first dozen or so episodes when the old cast was around were very weak. Cassie, T.J. and Ashley were a breath of fresh air. Carlos sucks. Let's get that straight. But overall it was one of the more goofier seasons but I found it rather entertaining for the most part.
But the suits were the absolute WORST.
