Yeah, so, like the title says, welcome to the official Power Rangers: Time Force discussion thread (I'm pretty sure there are other threads, besides the one I made, outside this guild dedicated in talking about the series; however, I'm making life easy for you by making one in HERE -- so deal. blaugh j/k
Oh, also since I'm sure one of you or some of you will feel compelled to "branch out" and start your own separate discussion thread about one of the series, which I guess is fine . . . but, yeah, that's why this one's called the "official" thread)!
Here, please feel free to (remember the rules/guidelines, first and foremost) talk to your heart's content about the series! 3nodding
So, for example, talk about how you hate the characters, but love the action/drama; or, how you think some episodes/the series in general should have gone, or WHATEVER! razz

I thought it was pretty good, but not as good as MMPR. It was cool to watch things from the future perspective and how those from the future have to adapt to life in the past. The villian was also ugly, which is how most bad guys should be. twisted

Time Force wasn't that bad, and I saw Lucas[[the blue ranger]] on the VH1 show "But can they sing?" o-o

Well, personallly I think a nice steamy bowl of soup may be far better than MMPR, but that's just my opinion.
Time Force had many great merits of its own, a few cool Zord assaults, a good story, and good characters.
My only complaint was that it seemed to generate a rather negative racial message as everyone who was a mutant was a villain.

Time Force had many great merits of its own, a few cool Zord assaults, a good story, and good characters. My only complaint was that it seemed to generate a rather negative racial message as everyone who was a mutant was a villain. You know, you have a point with that. But then it's kinda like the whole X-Men racial thing. But you're right, Time Force does kinda make it out that mutants are bad. But that also makes Ransik a kinda interesting villain because really he was mistreated, and that shaped his anger and rage. Which made him becoming good at the end, or at least accepting what he did as wrong, viable. Amazingly enough I liked Ransik as a villain. But then Time Force is one of my fav seasons of the Post-PR: Space era.(the reason for the whole Post-PR:Space thing is because I think from the end of Space, PR kinda went more downhill, and it changed. Plus the Space ending kicked a**)

Not bad really. Anyway the plot was pretty intreasting. I mean, four young and rookie cops from the year 3000 get traped in the primative year of 2001 following a evil mutant......Muhahaha....Excuse me, lol. I have t admit it was pretty good and well acted. It had a sad ending though. And yes i have it on tape, sweatdrop

Time force sucked in my opinion. It was one of the worst series I have ever seen. The story had potential, I thought the acting stank. Thats just how i feel.

When you look at it, Time Force is actually a much darker series than those of the past. It's the first series in which a cast member has used the word 'death' (Jen said: "I will not let his death be in vain!" when Alex is 'killed'). Also the origin of Ransik is also so unlike PR, not to mention how if Alex hadn't intervined in the past all the rangers would have died. Of course whilst this series is a bit more mature, it still carries the regular childish power rangers traits, oh well it's one step closer to a more mature PR series. The lamest thing is that Eric, the Quantum Ranger, was originally meant to die, like his Sentai counterpart Naoto. His death scene was filmed, but the idea was eventually pulled by the producers.
A game of PR Time force was made for GBA, and apparantly, whilst it nothing really original, it was actually quite good.
