Yeah, so, like the title says, welcome to the official Power Rangers: Wild Force discussion thread (I'm pretty sure there are other threads, besides the one I made, outside this guild dedicated in talking about the series; however, I'm making life easy for you by making one in HERE -- so deal. blaugh j/k

Oh, also since I'm sure one of you or some of you will feel compelled to "branch out" and start your own separate discussion thread about one of the series, which I guess is fine . . . but, yeah, that's why this one's called the "official" thread)!

Here, please feel free to (remember the rules/guidelines, first and foremost) talk to your heart's content about the series! 3nodding

So, for example, talk about how you hate the characters, but love the action/drama; or, how you think some episodes/the series in general should have gone, or WHATEVER! razz

Have fun (and remember: this is NOT an RPG thread, but just a general discussion for/about the original series, not fanfics)!

forever red was the best episode in tha shows entirety i mean come on every one (or only little me) has dreamed of havin every single colour of a ranger in one episode. It was just brilliant except for seeing how much Jason had aged and how fat he had gotten that was just sad

I never really got into Wild Force. I had just gotten back into watching PR when Time Force came on, and to see WF, well, it was a bit of a shock.

But I have rewatched some of the episodes and they were actually pretty good.

I guess I was one of those people that watched MMPR and then stopped for a while and when I came back it was lightspeed rescue.

Here in Britain, for tressitrial at least, they were very mean with the epidodes of every series, often not showing how they would end.

I had suffered through several of the later series, having watched with little interest in them. Lost Galaxy was bad, Lightspeed was okay, Time Force was okay, but Wildforce seemed to link back to something I had loved about the first one. Perhaps it was the fact that the Zords weren't just weapons?

In every series since MMPR, the Zords have just been viewed as tools of war, but in the original, there was life to them. When they were almost destroyed (and eventually destroyed) it was like losing a dear friend for the rangers. Wild Force seemed to revive this idea, and actually give life to the zords in a way that wasn't as awful as in Lost Galaxy.

It had powerful villains, who had their own little power struggles and friendships (I found myself being a fan of Toxica and Jindrax, I was actually a little upset when I caught the episode where Toxica was destroyed, and very relieved to hear of her revival by Jindrax).

Sure Wild Force had some cheesy moments, they all did, but there was a great feeling I got from Wild Force I hadn't felt since MMPR, it made me very happy.

*spioler*PR in space (or Lost Galaxy, I don't remember) Zordon told the Red Ragner to destroy him so the world could be purified and that's when the show went to hell

That was 'In Space'. And that entire series sucked except for the big cyrstiline villain.

The only reason I watched this season was because of Forever Red. FR was good but not fantastic. The rest of the season stunk.

It had a lot of problems such as:

exclaim Too much focus on the Red ranger making the others unimportant

exclaim There were too many zord combinations, something they could've easily left out from Gaoranger, which had 100 zords.

exclaim It stuck too close to the sentai story, even the morphing sequence was the same as the henshin sequence.

However it also had many good points, such as two team ups, the Timeforce one being considered the best of all teamups, and Forever Red, which speaks for itself. And no one can forget it's moral message of pollution.

My view on Wild Force was that it was a pretty different series going back to the roots of Power Rangers. Animals and a mentor who's almost always in danger. I liked the Zen-Aku episodes and admit that Forever Red was a decent episode exept that for such a well researched mission, who did they wait until the last minute?! It makes no sense. And how did many of the rangers get there powers back. There needed to be a lot more explanation. And, personally, I liked the amount of zords giving a nice twist to every megazord. It was one of the better seasons in my opinion.
