So, I've been complaining to my landlord that the showers are cold, but the rest of the water around the house is really hot. He came over once and checked it out and confirmed it. A few days later he came to fix one of the showers and claimed he did fix it. but it wasn't.
I've called him up again and complained that it isn't fixed, and he flipped out and claimed that a shower that goes anywhere between 90-120F is fine, and that none of the other tenants where complaining. Also claimed that I can't be complaining if it falls anywhere between 90-120F, and gave some bullshit that since I'm sub-leasing I shouldn't even be talking to him.
I've talked to the other tenants and they were also upset about the showers being cold still. Two of them said they have talked to the landlord about it.
So, to have some hard numbers I've measured both showers we have, and both of them are roughly the same temperature, with a difference of 0-1F. This claims that there hasn't been any change to the shower itself.
I'm measuring from the tub faucet so that means the water is hotter than the water coming from the shower head as we all know. The temperature averages around 97F, lowest I've recorded was below 90F, highest 109F.
Now remember I'm measuring from tub faucet, which is different from shower head. The water from the shower head drops around 2-3F compared to the faucet.
So, on average the shower we take is around 94F (low of 87F high of 106F). I don't think this is an acceptable temperature since you can get hypothermia while taking a shower; you know the goosebumps, shaking and shivering which gets worst as your body temperature drops.
So, out of curiosity I went to campus dorms of the university I go to and measured their hot showers, which is 110F+ (+ since my digital thermometer only goes up that high). It's measured directly from the shower head since there's no tub. That's a 16F difference!
It's been already two weeks since the landlord "fixed" the first shower, and he said he would be back when he get the materials to fix the other one. It doesn't take two weeks to get materials so I think he is slacking off. stressed

You should beat him with a cheese gratter. Nothing let's someone see your point of view more clearly when shredded flesh is involved. 3nodding

You should let him take a shower in your shower, so he gets how cold it really is! Make him freeze to ice twisted

Maybe I like a higher shower temperature than other people?
