Ramiel yawned and stretched as he stood up in the middle of the meadow. He had been napping in the warm sun most of the morning in a patch of grass that the snow had melted from in the past few days. Spring was coming and he couldn't wait. He was tired of all the snow and bitter cold. It made his life miserable and his body ache. His grandmother was about the only one who was excited for the snow to come in his family besides his grandfather. Both were born in the winter and it was apart of them in a way it would never be for him. Looking about, he was the only one in the area and it was rather boring. So the young white stallion decided he would wonder on his way and see if he could find anyone to meet.

Magaskawee wasn't even close to graceful on land. And so she avoided it. Lately, though, she'd been growing to enjoy it. The clouds had become thick with ice crystals, and flying through them wasn't an option anymore. But this day was different. She was determined to burst into the dense clouds and emerge just as well as she'd gone in. Bad idea. Very bad idea. The mare burst into a cloud, and mid-way through, lost control, which caused her to plummet toward the ground. Such a bad idea. Eyes wide, Mags did her best to correct the mistake she'd made. No such luck. She continued toward the earth at a constant speed. Horrible idea. At last, her wings caught the wind. Too late. Well... Maybe not. She had managed to get herself in an upward state, and when she skid across the ground, the only damage caused was some scrapes to her legs which, even though they hurt like hell, didn't appear to be too awful. They bled on the melting snow, where she let herself collapse into a heap, wings still stretched. "... What a stupid idea."

Ramiel's ears perked at a crashing sound that was followed by a loud thump. He had never heard such a thing in his life and was curious and a bit scared of it all at the same time. Whatever it was, it sounded large by how loud the thump was. He cautiously continued forward and he heard a voice coming from somewhere ahead of him. The voice was female, and didn't sound dangerous at all. In fact, it sounded more disappointed than anything else. "Hello?" he called out so as not to scare who ever it was and make them aware of his presence in case they did not want company. As he came through some brush he saw quite a sight in front of him. There to his surprise was a wind mare sprawled out on the ground and bleeding. Needless to say his mind began rushing to conclusions and was quickly becoming paniced.
