Did Steve Carell get a hair transplant? Its been bothering me since I watch Office re-runs and first run episodes. I've also heard that "Michael" wore a balding wig for season 1 only. Thoughts?

I always laugh when Season 1 Michael is compared to Season 2 Michael...S1 looked pasty, a little chubby and balding...S2 looked tan, fit with a head of hair. Ha.
Maybe they just brushed his hair back and gelled it weird for the first season?

I noticed that. In fact, it bothers me everytime they do the opening thing. I think it was just his hair length/style that changed Off topic, though, he has some intense eye bags in that first picture!

It's always bothered me. I'm so glad that they stopped trying to make it like the British version. Michael Scott is way better as a fitness freak. I like his little gym in the Dinner Party episode... But...I think it's just gelled strangely or something...

I always wondered this myself. Michael probably would have bought an As seen on TV hair growth product.

I think having your hair slicked back makes your hairline look like it's receding.
