Talents :: Jelena is very flexible because she was in gymnastics, she can do cart-wheels and all that. She also is good at solving complicated math equations in her head.
Flaws/Weaknesses :: Coming from Russia Jelena had a hard time learning the english language so up until recently she couldn't pronounce a lot of words correctly which made her feel very awkward. Thank god though that she took those extra english language classes before coming to the Academy to start over with new people. Another flaw of hers is how obnoxious and impatient she can be, Jelena is usually screaming her head off in Russian when people won't get out of her way when in a hurry. One of her strongest weaknesses is that she can't always control her power so often she has to be taken out of the classroom for controlling a student or teacher by mistake.
Personality :: Outgoing and optimistic is how you can describe Jelena, she always has a smile on even if she's angry inside. Controlling her emotions with an ease you won't ever find her getting angry over something that's trivial. Although if you get in her way when she has something important to do that's another story. Usually hanging out with a big group of friends she tends to take the center of attention role and her friends let her, I mean she can control them if they didn't.
Background :: Living in a wealthy household, Jelena always got what she wanted, even without using her powers. Her parents were always away on business trips so they never saw how strong her ability had become and the maids and butler were to afraid to tell them. Mostly being the girl with everything Jelena found herself always being called the princess.
Her first years of school were a bit over the top, the government enrolled her in their 'special' classes with their 'special' students. Jelene always knew that she was special and found it awkward at most points when people would do what she was thinking, and her first incident with using her abilities scared her to death. In the third grade she was off in her own little word, which she did a lot, daydreaming of getting her new kitten at the pet store later on that day. Seeing as how she wasn't paying attention the teacher strolled over to her desk and began shouting at her because of her lack of attention toward the class. Scaring her out of the daydream Jelene got infuriated, no one ever talked to her like that. Shriveling her face up in a sour puss face she imagined the teacher's head blowing up, and a few seconds later all hell broke loose. The teacher stopped talking and blood started to trickle from her eyes, mouth, and nose. Witnessing her topple over and collapse on the floor, Jelene, was forever haunted with the pain and fear of what she had done, she had actually killed someone. After that day her powers were never used again and Jelene lead a quiet life, still getting what she wanted obviously, I mean no one wanted to see what could happen if they didn't.
Now being in her teens Jelene has been in a constant mind battle with herself, trying to control everything she thinks, afraid something bad could happen again. Mentally her walls are breaking more and more as she tries to suppress the ability that had been given to her at birth. Most doctors foresee a mind blowing (not literally) explosion where her powers overwhelm her and take over. No one has told her this information, it would cause to much stress and could set her over the edge. Keeping a close eye on her she often has doctors visits and is taken out of class for an extended period of time.
Extra Info :: The Head Mistress is her aunt, but you won't see them talking that much, unless its professional.
