Hunters- They hunt vampires and anything else that would view a human as food. Some only hunt the ones that actually kill humans and some kill vampires without discretion. You usually become a hunter if it runs in your family or if you were a ‘normal’ who became involved because a family member or friend was turned or killed.
Purebred Vampires-Purebreds are born vampires and are usually from the higher class. Members of the royal family and of the court are almost always purebred. Purebred vampires can feed from humans or other vampires.
Changeling Vampires- Changelings are humans who were forced to drink a vampire’s blood and became one themselves. They usually don’t hold much status. The majority of vampires are changelings. Changelings can only feed from humans.
Blood bonds- Blood bonds can only be formed between two vampires or a vampire and human who have a strong emotional bond. If they feed from that person more than once on a short period of time they will not be able to feed from anyone else because that bond will have formed and there body will reject anyone else’s blood
Back-story to the world
By day the ‘normal’ humans run the city and are safe from the vampires, but at night everyone is fair game. At night the vampires hunt the humans and the hunters hunt the vampires. It is a strange system but it serves to keep the populations in balance. Vampires can walk in the daylight and aren’t affected by garlic, crosses, or holy water. There king has restricted hunting to night time and only in certain parts of the city. Hunters are self governed and basically hunt who and whatever they want to.

Character Backgrounds
Kurogane- A hunter who began his journey after his best friend in collage was attacked by a vampire and disappeared. He hunts now and generally dislikes most vampires. He is training Syaoran to become a hunter. He frequently goes to Yuuko for information but usually ends up losing more than the information was worth in the process.
Syaoron(Real Syaoron)- He trains under Kurogane and searches for his twin brother who was turned when a vampire attacked and killed their parents. He wants to try and find a way to save his brother and bring him back. His remaining family consist of himself, his identical triplet turned vampire Syaoran, and his fraternal triplet Watanuki.
Syaoran(The Clone)- He was turned into a vampire when one attacked and killed his family but failed to kill him. He was picked up by a group that ran across him later that night and taken to the king. When he was he met the princess and fell into her favor. He was then chosen as her second knight and now guards her along with her primary knight.
Fay(Our Fay)- A vampire who mysteriously turned up several years ago. He proved to be strong and was soon chosen to be the princesses primary knight and guardian by the King. His family consist of himself and his twin brother who works at a nightclub that is considered neutral ground for Vampires and hunters. He also generally avoids the subject of his human past.
Princess Sakura- The princess of Vampires and one of the kindest. She is warmhearted and has the devotion of her two knights, Fay and Syaoran. She wishes to open up more channels between humans and vampires so they can live in peace.
King Touya- King of Vampires. He tries to be fair and does what he considers to be the best for his people. He is fiercely over protective of his little sister which is what has lead to her having two knights. He is best friends with his primary adviser Yukito. He holds a high respect for Yuuko and has declared that if anyone harms her or her club they are to be punished severely.
Yukito- King Touya’s primary adviser and best friend. He is one of the few who is allowed to address him as simply ‘Touya’ although he frequently forgets. He has what is best for Touya and Sakura in mind and is the one who suggested that Syaoran be trained as a knight for Sakura.
Yuui (real/dead Fay)- He works at a nightclub considered neutral ground for vampires and hunters. He treats all vampires and hunters the same and thinks that vampires deserve a chance to live a semi-normal life. His knowledge of vampires and outlook on them can be contributed to his twin’s current situation.
Yuuko- Owner of the Blood Rights nightclub and a seer. She knows everything that happens in the vampire and hunter world and can give you any information you seek for a price. She and her bar are a considered untouchable and neutral. She is training her apprentice Watanuki to take over someday. Harming her, her club, or her employees are harmed in anyway is punishable by death.
Watanuki- Yuuko’s apprentice and fraternal triplet of Syaoran and Syaoron. His blood is extremely appealing to vampires and the effect of it is like walking around with a big neon ‘all you can eat’ sign above his head. He is not allowed to leave the bar at night without an escort that usually ends up being his friend and Doumeki who is a very talented hunter.
Doumeki- A talented hunter who befriended Watanuki and has been tagging along as his bodyguard ever since. He frequents Yuuko’s club and usually runs errands along with Watanuki when Yuuko asks them to.
Rules for Original characters
They cannot be related to the cannon characters in any way ((Blood relation like a little sister. I am sorry but that always just annoyed me. )) Otherwise you can do what you want on that front.
Original characters are only going to be posted on the first post of the actual thread so if you want to see them look there.
