Ryu laughed and shook his head as he followed Jelena down the hall and in to the cafeteria. He walked over to the cook, and made small talk while getting his food. "Good morning." "Nice weather this week, isn't it?" "Have they ordered the new stove yet?" After a little bit of exchanging pleasantries, he said, "Ok, I'd like a ham omelet, with olives, cheese, bacon, and some salsa please. Wheat toast on the side? Thanks."
He took his plate and went to sit at one of the tables after stopping to refill his coffee.

 Jelena KozlovSkipping up to the cafeteria ladies she gave them a sweet smile, narrowing her eyes she concentrated on the tall brunette. Forcing herself inside the ladies mind she pushed the thought of making waffles. Watching with satisfaction, Jelena's smile grew wider as her order was being made, walking over to the juice boxes she grabbed two apple juices. Hearing a loud bing of a bell she swirled around, walking over to the lady again she grabbed her plate of Belgian waffles loaded with whip cream and strawberries. Carrying everything over to where Ryu was she sat down across from him and started eating like a monster with no table manners what so ever, reaching over now and then to sip some juice.

Ryu chuckled and almost shot coffee out of his nose. "Hungry Jelena? I'd slow down, you're going to get a stomach ache if you keep eating like that." He reached over and handed her a napkin. "You've got pink goo all over yourself silly girl." Ryu glanced towards the kitchen and watched the cook shaking her head, and looking towards Jelena curiously. He shook his head at the brunette and shrugged his shoulders, smiling. Turning again to Jelena, he said "You know, you could have just asked for them..."

Looking up at Ryu grinned whip cream and strawberries covering her face, grinning she took the napkin and wiped her face. "Sorry, I just haven't eaten in awhile" staring at the brunette Jelena looked confused, "I did ask though, in my own way." Her grin widened at her little joke, picking up her fork she started poking the waffle.

Ryu's looked at her, and more seriously this time, spoke. "Jelena, you know that is not true. The first part of getting your power under control is going to be limiting when you use it and for what. That way, you will learn to control the emotions that go with the more violent outbreaks. As harmless as that may have been, your gift leaves a rather unpleasant feeling with someone when you are done. May I show you what I mean?"

"Okay okay I get it, I just thought it was harmless. Plus I can erase what I did so it's like I was never there." Scratching her head she rumbled her hair and looked lost in thought. "I know what you mean kinda, but i've learned that if I don't use my ability than it overcomes me. That's why I try and do little things with it, so....I don't loose control. I mean you know how that was like." Shaking her head she tried to not think of the things she was capable of, she just wanted to forget everything.

"As long as you understand what I mean, then there is no need to go back to that moment." He was glad, because he knew what it would do to her for her to see what she had done to him. "However, I will ask you not to erase things that you have done from now on, the best way to avoid repeating the past is to remember and learn from it."
He then thought up an idea, remembering the question he wanted to ask Rikku. "Jelena, I've got an idea, but I am going to to need some assistance in case it goes wrong. Can you wait here? I want to go talk to your aunt for a moment."

Looking at him with a confused face Jelena sat their, "My aunt? What could you possibly want to see her for?" Picking at her food she took and few bites, grabbing her drink she took a few swigs of it still completely dumbfounded. "What are you up to Ryu?"

He simply smiled at her and said, "Trust me, this just might work. If she's available, we'll be back in a few. Meet us out by the pond in twenty minutes, ok?" Ryu reached over and ruffled her hair before getting up and walking out of the cafeteria towards Rikku's office.

Jelena KozlovShrugging him off she got up out of her seat, taking her garbage she walked over to the garbage cans and dumped her stuff. Running her hands threw her hair to make herself look semi-decent she headed out of the cafeteria grabbing an apple juice on her way out. Putting the straw in the juice box she sipped it slowly biting the straw, walking briskly into the hallway.
