About the Trainer
Hi there!
I...um...my name is Rylina'sil swift. You can call me Lina. I am ten years old.
My daddy works in Fortree City as a ranger. He studies the wild Pokemon there and makes sure the more aggr...aggress...meaner pokemon don't hurt the people there. I like visiting Fortree, everyone lives in treehouses! It's really fun, and I enjoy climbing the long ladders. Daddy's always afraid I'll fall, but I'm alright.
Me and mommy, um, live in Lilycove City, and mommy is a doctor. She can make any hurt go away! I love my parents, they take good care of me. My older brother is not home though, he's a trainer! I miss him, but he sends letter back often.
I want to be a Pokemon healer one day, and work at the Pokemon centre! Or maybe out in the wilds with daddy, to take take care of any, um, injured Pokemon he finds.
I don't like seeing trainers make pokemon fight each other...the pokemon get hurt...why do people make them fight? I hate it when I see trainers fight...it's always the Pokemon who gets hurt.
I think, um, I'd also like to be a coordinator...Lilcove has a very big Contest Hall and I enjoy watching all the cute and pretty pokemon there. Mommy used to be a coordinator, and she tells me its a lot of fun. I'd love to be able to dress up as well, and, um, look pretty there up on stage.
My um, favourite Pokemon is, um...Dratini. They're really cute...but daddy says they're rare, so I might never see one. If I ever do see a wild dratini, I don't know if I'll catch it though. To catch a Pokemon, I, um, have to battle it...and I might separate it from its friends and family. And what if the Pokemon doesn't like me?
Daddy doesn't want me to become a trainer, but mommy does. Daddy says it dangerous, letting me go on my own, but mommy wants me to have the experience. I left Pokemon trainer's School with a lot of A+, so I think I'll do well, but I'm scared of leaving home, and I might have to fight Pokemon! Daddy says there's also dangerous Pokemon out there, and I'm kind of scared. Especially of Ekans and Arbok, they're all slithery and...and...daddy says that they're poisonous, and if they bite me, I'll die!
Big brother came back at one point , and told me all of the wonderful stories, of his journey around the world. He showed me his Pokemon, and they were so cute too! He convinced me to, um, try becoming a trainer!
So, I, um...went to Professor Gum's lab to get my first Pokemon, and start my journey too. I'm scared, but I'm excited too! If I work as a trainer, I'll learn more about Pokemon, so that one day, I will be able to be a great healer!

I caught, um, Frill the day I got Vulpix. Frill doesn't like to move about and enjoys sleeping constantly. Um, he's vengeful though, and he seems to hold a grudge for a very long time. Frill, um, doesn't get along with Pixie well. He's scared of her though, and will back down easily.

The Hatched, The Quick
Cheer hatched at Mauville while we waited for Minerva and Laurel to recover at the Pokemon center. Cheer is inquisitive and very curious, which tends to get him in trouble. When confronted about it though, he just gives me the most innocent look. It doesn't work on my brother though, since he can't see, and Cheer has learned to simply run away. None of us can catch him if he doesn't want us to.

Gender: Female
We found Minerva injured just east of Mauville along with laurel. She can be snappy, defiant, and rather vain. She doesn't seem to like me or anyone else except for Laurel really, and can be rather aggressive about it. She's starting to warm up to me though, and I hope I can someday be friends with her.
Minerva also has a habit of breaking down crying at very little things. I wonder what had happened to her to cause her to be like this...
