Ashpaw was curled in a ball in a soft bed of moss, his tail-tip rested on his nose. His burned side was hidden which made him look normal compared to the other apprentice's who slept around him, his mind was running and he knew there was no point of trying to stop it. He was thinking of another plane so he could stop the queens and the medicine cat from worrying about him. He was angry as well the older warriors sugested that he retire as an apprentice, beacause they tought the burn was to bad for him to become a warrior, it was true. If the sun hit it or someone touched it the wrong way it did burn and he would twist in pain, but that didnt stop him from trying anyway, to stay in the sun and play with the other apprentice's who seemed scared of him.

Scarheart was sending patrols to fecth water and hunt as well as to protect the boarders. She couldnt relax until every cat was doing something that could benefit her clan. She padded to the apprentice's den and yowled for ashpaw to wake up 'Useless lump of fur!' she tought to herself.
Willowpaw was sorting trough herbs, as her mentor placed them on the shelfs to store.
Mapleclaw was busy at work and was putting aside some poppy seeds for Ashpaw's burn, he noticed the apprentice worked hard to keep the side of his face shaded.

Ashpaw didn't skip a beat, he uncurled himself before he streached and groomed his chest. He looked over the other apprentices, his gaze rested on the white she-cat before he turned and bounded into the clearing to find his mentor, when he spotted her head bounded to her side and stood tally "Yes Scarheart?" he mewed bravly.

Blossompaw awoke to Ashpaw bounding out of the den.
"Ashpaw wait for me" she called following him quickly to see him talking to Scarheart.

Scarheart stared him down, her ears pricked when she heard Bloosmpaw and looked at the half clan cat with loathing "You and Bloosmpaw can go hunt" she mewed, her eyes narrowed.
Willowpaw picked up some herbs and rushed to give them to Ashpaw.

Ashpaw sighed and licked up the herbs with out starting a fight before he turned and nodded to Bloosmpaw "Come on" he mewed, the white she-cat seemed to glow in the morning-light. He was amazed for a moment before he shook it off.

Blossompaw flinched at Scarheart's hostile gaze.
"Right." Blossompaw followed Ashpaw out of the WindClan camp and onto the open moor land.
"Where do you want to hunt?"

Ashpaw shurged his shoulders "I don't care" he mewed, his tail-tip flicked "You can pick" he mewed, this time more friendly and less angry and spitful, there was something about this apprentice that made him that way like she knew what he was going trough.

Blossompaw didn't know what was wrong with her. Her heart pounded against her ribcage so hard that it hurt and her words got stuck in her throat.

Ashpaw looked at her oddly "You alright?" he mewed, great! another cat that wouldnt answer his question "Fine, if you don't want to come with me then thats fine!" his voice was sharp.

Ashpaw turned his icy yellow eye back on Bloosmpaw "What? you finally found your voice?!" his voice shook with anger *Srry he hates when cats act that way around him*

"Well--ummm...uhh..." Blossompaw stuttered for a moment, "It's just that...I really like you, Ashpaw."
And with that she turned and ran.

Ashpaw was left staring wide-eye'd, he wondered if he should chase her but shook it off. He turned and ran himself towards the thunderclan boarder, he wanted to run froever. He was suprised when he felt the river-water at his paws. There was barely any left which suprised him even more.
