Detailed Description of Rule Violations and Their Punishments

1) Every thread must have a poll - This rule is pretty self explanatory. This is a poll Guild, every thread must contain a poll. Each violation of this rule will be equal to 1 "half-strike" and depending on how frequently it occurs, a user may not be banned for violating their "strike" count on poll-less thread violations. Every user will have 1 "free" "half-strike" for poll-less thread violations. This is for users who are new and may be unfamiliar with the rules or how to make polls.

2) Flaming and flame instigation will NOT be tolerated - Any user caught insulting or arguing with another user will be given at least 1 "strike". If this occurs in mutliple threads at the same time by the same user, then it is up to the moderator whether the individual violations will be counted separately or collectively. If your "strike" count runs out with at least 2 of these violations there is a very good chance that you will be banned from the Guild. Group flaming will result in harsher penalties of 1 "strike" per every user involved or automatic ban depending on the severity of the flaming.
NOTE: Please take note that racism and racial slurs are forms of flaming.

3) Keep repeat threads to a minimum - This rule is to keep the Guild as interesting as possible and to prevent flooding. This does not mean that you cannot post several polls that have a common theme, this means that you cannot post identical or near identical polls/threads in an attempt to flood the Guild with identical polls. When a user violates this rule, for creating 3-10 identical threads/polls the violation will be 1 "half-strike", for creating 10+ identical threads/polls the violation will be 1 "strike". If your "strike" count runs out with at least 2 of these violations there is a chance that you may be banned from the Guild. It will depend on the severity of the violations and whether or not you have a history of receiving this type of warning whether you get banned or not.

4) Respect the beliefs and opinions of others - This Guild does not promote abusing the beliefs and opinions of other members. While you retain your right to your own opinions and beliefs, you may not on any occasion hound someone about their beliefs or opinions. You are free to state if you think something is silly, or stupid, or foolish, but you are in no way allowed to harass someone about their beliefs. Doing so will result in you receiving 1 "half-strike". If this occurs in multiple threads at the same time by the same user, then the violation penalty will be 1 "strike". If your "strike" count runs out with at least 2 of these violations there is a good chance that you will be banned from the Guild. Group abuse will result in harsher penalties of 1 "half-strike" per every user involved or automatic ban depending on the severity of the abuse.

5) "Stalking" users will NOT be tolerated - Following a user around the Guild and making posts that make them feel uncomfortable or upset, if discovered, will result in you receiving 1 "strike", even if the incidents are a week apart. If the "stalking" continues after the first warning then you may be banned depending on the severity of the violation. If you begin to "stalk" another user after receiving a warning then you run the risk of being banned immediately.

6) Do not advertise your guild in a thread - If you wish to advertise your guild in LOEP and let the members of the guild know about it, please contact Gramma about affiliating with LOEP. The affiliate program exists for this reason. Violation of this rule warrents you one "half strike".
EXCEPTION: While the advertising of guilds is no longer permitted, as in recruitting, the talk of other guilds is of course still allowed. If you are going to talk about something happening in a guild, that is fine. If you are going to advertise something being sold (IE: breedable pets being sold in one specific guild) you are more than welcome to. However, do not make a thread telling others about your new guild and asking people to join. If you want that sort of thing in this guild, please just contact Gramma Rassie about affiliating.

7) All other ToS rules apply except for those concerning spam - All other ToS violation may result in immediate ban from the Guild depending on the severity of the violation. As well, depending on the violation, your actions may be forwarded to a Gaia moderator for further review. If the violation is deemed not severe enough to warrant a ban, then you will be issued a permanent "strike" which does not get taken away every 4 months. Examples of this type of violation are (but not limited to); posting/linking to pornography or illegal downloads, hacking the Guild, creating hate threads about Gaia and/or its individual boards/moderators and abusing mod powers.
NOTE: In the event that abuse of mod powers occur, said mod will be immediatly demodded with little chance of reclaiming said position again in the future.
EXCEPTION: There are some rules in the TOS that Gramma does not find so severe as to warrent a permanent strike or immediate ban. As well, there are some rules scattered over Gaia that are not in the official TOS but are rules none the less. Breaking of these rules is reviewed on a case-by-case system as Gramma can't expect you to know all the rules scattered over Gaia. Just use your common sense.

8.) Do not beg.
We understand that everyone wants gold on gaia, but we all earned our gold the same way everyone does: by polling and posting. There's nothing wrong with starting up a quest thread, in fact, we encourage it, people are more likely to donate to someone with a quest thread then those just begging. Posting only requests for free gold, however, will get you a strike and if, even when warned, the problem persists, you will be banned. We all want to have a friendly, begging free environment here in LOEP so please, keep it to the quest threads.

NOTE: If you are violating any of these rules on purpose simply to break rules, you will be banned.


How to File a Complaint about an Inefficient Mod or an Unattended Rule Violation

If any of these rules are broken and the moderators are slow to respond, please PM me or another moderator with the link to the thread as well as a brief message explaining your complaint. If you feel that a moderator has not been proficient in following and/or enforcing the rules, these complaints must be sent to me, Gramma Rassie and the moderator in question. Please contain screenshots of what you are concerned with in your PM to me. All complaints about moderator efficiency will be taken seriously and dealt with accordingly. Do NOT make a thread openly critizing the moderator as it will only cause you to up your "strike" count and undermine your original concern. And do NOT use flamatory language that may result in you upping your "strike" count. This is for your own good people, listen to these rules.

If you wish to affiliate, all you need to do is PM Gramma about it and give her a code for your banner and link to the guild you want to affiliate. She will then put it up here. It's as simple as that.

It's all good... except for the banners.... i'll make some new ones so you can repost them... like the U.N. gaia is some magic school something, the CoC is well.. not the CoC anymore, and the MPH... well it only says "Manic Poll" instead of "Manic Poll House".. plus i can see you got a mod list aleady... so I'll start working on a new baner... unless you say otherwise??

He meant both. He wanted to make a guild front for us a while back but I told him to hold off on that until I was sure about who was staying and going.

Yeah you can go ahead and do those things. 3nodding I have to make sure all those guilds still have our link up, cause if they aren't promoting us I don't see a reason to promote them.
