Here is where you should post your stories or stories you recommend to read as well as bouncing ideas from one person to another for when those stubborn writers block just won't leave.

dude need help! what should i write after this.

Renji snarled in anger as he sped through the forest uncaring of the wildlife and the few humans in it. His youki energy was running rampant around him slicing at the vegetation that was impeding its progress of reaching his kidnapped mate.
With a final leap he landed into the clearing around the lake. Tilting his head he took a whiff of the air looking for the unique scent of Yoh’s. He found it but it was really faint as if he was here and already gone or it was being impeded. Scanning the lake area is eyes widened in surprise and horror. There in the water was Yoh he was above the water frozen in a crystal like ice that glimmered with the light of the sun.
Renji rushed toward the ice summoning some fire to melt through it and rescue Yoh. A loud crash filled the air as the dog demon was thrust backwards when a large black tail came out and slammed into his abdomen. Quickly recovering he growled threateningly at the midnight black dog demon in front of him. The canine snarled back, standing defiantly between him and his main priority.
“Get out of my way.” He threatened.
The dog demon shook his head as if to say no before opening its maw and spewing forth a red tinted mist. As the mist spread the vegetation it touched turned black and crumbled to the ground as a fine ash. Stepping back as it neared him he jumped over the dog gave a twirl and landed behind it still facing his foe. The red mist reached the edge of the water but spread no further past it. It seems he made the right choice. Water seemed to neutralize the hazardous mist s soon as they touched each other.
The other canine’s eyes glittered wickedly from an unknown emotion. With a low snarl it leaped forward as its front claws started to glow a sickly pale red. In the back of his mind Renji realized he somehow recognized it but for now he could not place it. Right now though, he had more important issues to handle right now, like saving the only one good enough to be his mate. Stepping to the side he let the canine demon rush past him as he raked his own claws into it side leaving deep bloody gashes in his claws wake.
The dog landed slipping a little as the landing jarred its new wounds. It snarl barked at Renji before taking off once again this time it circled counterclockwise around its opponent that had been underestimated. As it gained speed the shadows that could be found on the lakes surface started to twist and writhe like a nest of squirming snakes.
Suddenly four more dog demons, exact replicas of the original, sprang from the same twisting, writhing shadows. Snarling in frustration Renji lunged at the nearest dog only to slip right through it. “Damn it!” he hissed. “******** b*****d, stand still!” The humanoid demon was getting frustrated with the beast demon. At every turn it seemed that he was out maneuvered by the other.
The other gave barking laughs every time Renji slid through its shadow forms. Finding it amusing that such a simple trick was annoying Renji.

Here is the prologue to a story I'm writing tell me what you think and if you like I'll upload more with the art work a friend did 4 me.

Wings Of Hope

The stars twinkled high in the black obis as a howling icy wind whipped around trees and through their leaves, shoving bushes back and forth while throwing litter all around with the slightest of effort.

Inside where all was calm in contrast to the wilderness outside, Kai sat on his girlfriend’s pink bedcovers his thumb and forefinger playing with the material between them as Jessica pulled off her top leaving her in her white frilly underwear.
Kai swallowed hard as crimson red hues raised up to meet ocean blue. Jessica slowly walked over to Kai sitting down beside him and placing her hand on his knee and leaning in to kiss his black lips.

Kai flinched at Jessica’s touch and she quickly stopped and pulled her hand away from him and sat with her head down and her arms folded across her breasts.
“What’s wrong Kai, don’t you find me attractive anymore, and I thought this is what we wanted?”

What Jessica had wanted maybe Kai didn’t remember anything about agreeing to bring their relationship to the next level. Not that he truly intended for it to continue anyway.
“Jessica, there’s something I have to tell you.”
Jessica stood up before standing in front of Kai still with her arms folded across her chest.

“What is it Kai?”
“Jessica, I…”
“What don’t tell me you’re gay?”
“No, well at least I don’t think so…I’m not really sure…”

The truth was Kai wasn’t totally sure, he’d started having these strange dreams about wings and feathers and a guy in School but none of them made any real sense and he had noticed his feelings towards this guy were becoming a little more than a basic mate.

“I…I need time to think.” Kai looked up into Jessica’s Ocean Blue eyes and the moment he did a hand landed full force on his cheek.
“Get out!” She screamed at him throwing various items in his direction as he gathered up his scarf and shoes and made for the door.

Once he shut the door behind him he let out a heavy sigh of relief then carefully rubbed his cheek it was still hot from his slap. Kai nervously turned his snake bites between his fingers while deciding what to do next. He placed his black and white chequered necker around his neck and decided to make his way to the park.

The wind howled and Kai was bombarded by leaves, litter and branches and anything else that the wind found it could pick up and throw at him. Eventually Kai sat down on a park bench and looked up at the stars still twinkling high in the black Obis above him. Then he leaned forward burying his head into his hands and began to cry. Eyeliner ran down his hands and flowed slowly down around his wrists. The only sounds were the wind howling around him and a strange snapping and Cracking sound.

Suddenly Kai felt a sharp pain in his back it was so painful it threw him off the bench. He landed on his knees with his head down in the gravel as the pain continued to flow through his back. His back arched with each spike of pain and after a while he began to feel something warm running down his back turning cold as it travelled. Again and again the spikes of pain plagued his small young frame and racked his whole body before he finally snapped upright chest thrust forward as something large broke from his back and threw itself backwards.

Kai slumped forwards again before laying flat out and felt something being draped around him. He looked up and saw something white tinted with red. He moved to stand up but only got as far as getting up onto his hands and knees feeling terribly dizzy.

The white with red tint was gone but his back felt slightly heavier than it had done before he came here. Using the bench to lean upon Kai managed to stand up and flexed all his muscles and when he moved his shoulder blades he was shocked and slightly horrified to discover two very large very real white wings stained with red blood

(Could you guys read this for me? It only hints at shonen-ai, but the hint is definitely noticable.)

I was walking the halls of Whammy’s House for what must have been the hundredth time to reach Roger’s office. He said that he had something of dire importance to tell Mello and I. I was curious as to what could be so important that he had to drag me from my simplistic puzzle which I decided to bring with me. It was a blank puzzle with a calligraphic L in the upper right hand corner. Mello was jealous of that puzzle because L was the one who drew his name upon what was once a blank white toy. Envy was and always will be a petty thing. It will be Mello’s downfall. Well, that along with his anger chocolate abuse problems. If he could only realize that we would work better as a team…

I found that due to my inner musings about Mello, I had reached Roger’s office more quickly than normal. On second thought, maybe it wasn’t my mental rambling. Perhaps I just walked faster? Anyway, I took a seat upon the floor, twirled a bit of my snowy locks around my finger and continued to solve my puzzle with perfect accuracy. Roger nodded to acknowledge my presence. I did nothing in return. Mello was, as always, just a few minutes late. He demanded to know what was wrong as I continued to fiddle with my hair.

“It’s L…” Roger said then paused. I suppose it was for dramatic effect. How pathetic. “He’s dead.” He said gravely. I paused in my hair twirling for a moment. So L was finally gone? This must mean that I would become the new L. Either that or Mello and I would be working as a team. I began to twirl my hair once more. There was nothing to worry or be concerned about. There was no possible way that Mello would be the new L. I was far more intelligent. However, I will admit that although I was intelligent, I lacked the action and even though Mello would act, he was much too impulsive. He lacked the calm.

“L’s dead? No. Roger, how did this happen? Did Kira do it?! I’ll kill that b*****d!” Mello swore to avenge L’s death. “Yes. Kira killed him. L wished that the two of you, Mello and Near, worked together as his successor.” I placed the last puzzle piece in its spot as Roger said this. For the second time that afternoon, I stopped my hair twirling. My white locks remained curled around my finger.

“You’ve got to be kidding me! I can’t work with him. We’d never get along.” Mello yelled. I picked up the completed puzzle and tilted it so every piece fell to the carpeted floor. I had both Roger’s and Mello’s attention now. I had o problem working with Mello and I made it known.
“If L’s final wishes were Mello’s cooperation with me and my cooperation with him, then I have nothing against it. It’s you move Mello.” Mello stormed out after I finished saying this. I don’t think I’ll ever be truly able to understand Mello’s psyche. He would work together with me and know it, but he would never admit it. He was too proud to do such a thing.

“Well then Near, gather your things. Since Mello decided to leave, you are L’s one and only successor.” I nodded silently then picked up my puzzle and its pieces. I left the room while curling hair around my finger before shutting the door with a soft thud. I walked the halls of Whammy’s House one last time and stopped by the kitchen to get a box of animal crackers. They were my favorite and I wanted them for the plane ride to America. I took a small detour on the way to my room and stopped in Mello’s. He was already gone, leaving only one trace, his photograph. I took the photo and slipped in my shirt then continued on my way. I shouldn’t dally where I wasn’t invited. Upon reaching my room, I found something sticking out of my door. It was another picture, but of me, not Mello. I took it out, automatically suspicious, and flipped it to the back. It had “Dear Near,” scrawled in Mello’s chicken scratch print. I slipped that inside of my shirt as well. I packed my belongings which wasn’t much. I soon made my way to America and began the Kira investigation.

Some time passed and I knew that Mello would be paying me a visit today. I had planned it like a master plans his game of chess. Mello wasn’t a pawn. No, he was more like a knight, protecting and dying for the master, the number one, the king. I took out his picture and flipped it to the back, wishing to write something meaningful without being sentimental. I wrote “Dear Mello,” then began to think. I sat there inside of my train tracks with the investigation team looking down upon me trying to come up with something. This was a rare occasion. My mind was blank. Before I could come up with anything worthwhile, Mello stormed into my base. Words were exchanged, angry words from him, calm ones from me, just like always. He threatened to kill me just like always and I ignored him just like always. Things still hadn’t changed between us. He was still the knight and I was still the king. I tossed the picture at him and watched as it sliced through the air before getting caught by Mello’s gloved hand. I watched him as he flipped it over and narrowed his eyes. I twirled my hair almost violently and looked away. Mello and I, we had an odd type of friendship. Neither of us would admit it and it would always be full of unfinished letters with unfinished sentiments. We would always rely on each other and neither of our plans would work without the action of the other, but neither of us was humble enough to verbally admit that. That was in my unfinished letter, that small admittance of need and small sentiment of gratitude. Thank-you, my knight.
