Ok...so there are magazines like guitar world for guitar players, and there is the guitar/keyboard/bass player magazines that cater to whatever instrument they are about, where they interview and do stories on people who play the instruments, and they review equipment etc etc etc
SO i am wondering if there is a magazine like this for people who make electronic music....

Oh really? do you happen to know what the name of it is? Do they also do stuff about like synths or things in it too? What type of stuff do they talk about?
We dont have a books a million, but we do have a B&N.....
When i have the extra cash i am gonna be surprising my sister with a subscription to Keyboard Player (which means i will also get to read the older issues woot!) cuz i got her a keyboard for this past xmas

I believe that one zine is called Computer Music or something like that. Usually it comes with a free disc with a s**t load of presets and synths that you can upload to FL7 or 8 or whatever. In the Zine, it also gives you tips on how to make synths, take those tips to make your own better synths. It's a really good magizine, but it's costly.... worth it though.

OMG that sounds bad a**
well, i did the math the other day, and realized it really is a million times cheaper to get a subscription to any magazine than buy off the newstand. So if i did that, it would at least take some of the bite outta the cost. The fact it comes with a disc really seals the deal.

Oh yeah, definitely. now, granted, if you have better synths and presets, you wont want all of them that they give you, but they usually give you pretty good ones. Yeah, I guess you have a point. Subscribing would be cheaper.

I actually did! There is a pretty decent selection of electronic music magazines!!!
FutureMusic, Computer Music, Music Tech and one or two others or something like that.
Seeing where each one costs 15 bucks or more (each one comes with a disc with software demos, presets, Royalty free samples and loops, etc), I had to make the hard decision of which one sad I picked this month's issue of FutureMusic, because on the disc this month it came with (royalty free) Industrial Metal and trance samples! woot!!
