My name is Casey, i met with him and actually had a chance to write with him! this past year in the release of The Pirate King I also met with his son who wrote, co-wrote the stowaway GREAT BOOK ALSO! anyway post here if you have any questions about how he writes or what he is like! He was really great actually and fun to sit next to and write with.
PS I am a published poet and short story author and am in college.

he told me writing is a pleasing thing, but the thing is you have to deal with criticism. it is a natural part of writing. to be a writer you have to accept failure and no as a constant. Also, fantasy is an amazing thing to write, it gives you complete shackled freedom. what most people dotn realizee is in fantasy writing you have to defien an entire world for the reader! you really cant jsut make characters and be like bam fighting and magic you have to defien every littel snippit. never start by writing a novel start with 5 to 10 page short stories

I would love to meet him someday. He is one of my Top 3 "Authors To Meet When I Get Famous"
