I was thinking on starting a game, something like the roman Colosseum.

You would be facing beasts, monsters, dragons, and maybe a big thing....Maybe.

and each other.



Rules
The first four people can create 2 people one at level 20 and one at level 1
Everyone else can only be level 1 (I will change this after the lower levels, level up. The reason for the first four being level 20 is simple, I want to test a theory.)

No super races, Nothing above LA 1

Only one person can walk free. So open to all alignments.

Battles can only fought in the arena, No killing someone backstage.

Phb, EPH, Mm123 Dmg, are all open anything else as me first and it has to be form a book.

Make up a call name, The fans love cheering on their favorite.

Do the first 4 get lvl 20 starting gold for equipment or is it given when things start?

yes, the level 20 people get level 20 starting gold to play with.

That is for one reason, I will be blight with you. The Theory I have is more of a statement put forth from my old dm. He said and I quote "There is no way a group of 4 level 20 adventures could take a tarrasque..." So I wanted to put that to the ultimate test. One group of 4 adventures, the bases of all the other challange ratings in the game of dnd, vs a tarrasque. Brain vs beast

Cool and what is the standard amount of gold for a LVL 20 Character or where could I look it up in the DMG?

Hmm... taking on the Tarrasque? I think I'm game, just going to say that I'm going to need to confirm some things before I make a character.

1. Will you allow the Disciple of Dispater prestige class from Book of Vile Darkness?

2. How do you take the power of a Mirror of Opposition would affect the Tarrasque?

3. You said "Nothing above lvl adjustment of +1" so does that include the few templates out there?

Um...that sounds like the configuration someone used for a 4.0 game, while this is probably a 3.5 game, making glitterboypolit's statement correct.

Looks like everyone is going for the battle against the tarrasque, this could be fun.


Yurro: 1. All books and classes from those books are open. If it is from a mag check with me, I don't get the dragon magazine. You can create your character any way you wish.

2. I take it as read. you would have two Tarrasques fighting it out. Though I don't see how you are going to carry a 4 foot by 3 foot around.

3. Yes that includes the templates as well.

Its the starting gold amount for a leveled character. It is, basically, an item of greater and lower level of your character, plus your level item (for instance, a level 5 rogue could get a level 6,5, and 4 magic item) and the gold amount of a level 4 magic item.
