-=Rules and Guidelines for the Living World=-

Listed here are the notes on conducting oneself properly while in the real world, as organized by Ekibyou Neppa, Lieutenant of Squad 11. These notes should be read over carefully and taken whole heartedly, as they could save you and your comrades much trouble.

-=How to Obtain Passage to the Living World=-

Most of the time you will be ordered to go into the living world. When this happens, a Captain will have already gained clearance for you to travel through the Senkaimon and to the world of the living. Now, if you wish to travel there yourself on your own free time, then you must contact and place a request with Squad 9 to travel through. There is a waiting period, so make sure that you place your request early. After you have obtained your permit, you can head over to the gate and leave. There is normally a set amount of time that you can be in the living world for, so make sure you return before or on time.

-=How to Dispatch Hollows Correctly=-

When fighting Hollows in the real world, there are many precautions one should take. Dispatching it quickly is always a good idea, but you must also be careful of the living people around you. You must protect them at all costs and try and cause as little collateral damage as possible. If you are found to neglect the safety of the living, you will be tried against Central 46. Under no circumstances are you to not protect a living person.

-=Safe Places for Shinigami=-

Through my current analysis, the only safe location for a Shinigami in the living world is an old, run down building known as the Uruhara Shop. It was once owned by ex-Captain Uruhara of Squad 12. To protect potentially harmful entities finding the high reiatsu, it was constructed with a barrier around it to shield against scrying for reiatsu. Though the building may be run down and decrepit, the shield still stands. There is also an underground training facility for you to use in case you need to train in the real world. Please be secretive in your activities so no harmful entities find the location. This means that you cannot bring anyone to the store unless it is imperative that you do.

-=Dos and Don'ts=-

Here is a list of common Dos and Don'ts that will help clarify some questions:
DO: Follow your mission.
DO: Dispatch Hollow then they appear.
DO: Help those in need of assistance when in your gigai.
DO: Blend in as much as you can when in your gigai.
DO: Check in with your commander when you are supposed to.
DO NOT: Use Kidou or your Zanpakutou when you are in your gigai.
DO NOT: Begin relations with a living person.
DO NOT: Kill a living person unless it is completely unavoidable for the greater good.
DO NOT: Cause problems with the local authorities.
DO NOT: Cause more collateral damage than is necessary.

-=Things to Be Wary Of=-

While in the living world there are many things that you must be careful of. Now, you will not get permission to travel to the living world if you are not of a high enough skill to dispatch Hollows, but not all Hollows are weaker than you. If you come into contact with a Hollow that you cannot take by yourself, call for back up. If there you team up, then you might have a chance. If multiple Shinigami isn't enough, then call for backup and reinforcements will be sent.
Another thing you must watch out for are Arrancar and Vizard. These are both highly dangerous people. Unless you are a high ranking Shinigami, Vice-Captain at the very minimum, then it is best to run and inform the Soul Society that such people have shown up.
Bounts are also a persistent problem. It is hard to tell their strength from right away, but try to dispatch them if you can. If one is too strong, call for back up and retreat for the time being.
Quincy are not a direct threat, but you should still be mindful of them. They are more or less trying to complete the same goal we are, to protect the living world from Hollows. The only exception is that you should try and get the final blow on a Hollow if you can. If one provokes you, do not attack. If one attacks you, flee and/or defend yourself but do not kill them. Only use enough force to make them want to flee.
