So I own the first three comics and I like them but I think they cut some important stuff. I really don't like paraphrasing a story. But I think more people need to post more in this guild and more things need to come up and I noticed that no one starts a discussion about the comics so here it is. Tell me everything you think about them...and if you can find a site to buy the next ones please tell me...I will own everything Drizz't

I personally don't like the comics. I'm a little... disturbed... by how Jarlaxle looks... I don't think he should be that buff.
I haven't seen anywhere online to get them, but most comic stores would probably order them for you if you ask. Bookstores might have them too. I know Chapters has them.
We know that more people need to post in the guild. That's why we are sending out a PM to all 83 members to remind them about the guild, and that they should come post. It is slowly becoming more active.

I would like to read them, but I cannot find them, nor afford them. Sucks.

I may check out the first book of the Drizzt comics, but something deep inside tells me I won't enjoy them half as much as I did the novels... and you know, I'd rather not waste the money. But since my expectations for them are already low, who knows.

I'm afraid to even open them up. I tried reading the first Vampire Hunter D comic based off the novels and I gagged after 4 pages. I'm like "no thank you"
I'll stay with the novels ^_^ but when I get a chance I'll look at the comics

The comics don't represent the series as well as they could, but since I'm a creepy stalker fan I enjoy anything Drizzt-related. Even awful fanfictions about him and Artemis confused

I knew that it would only be a matter of time before more yaoi fangirls flocked to this wonderful guild.

Dark_Lily13 ... I knew that it would only be a matter of time before more yaoi fangirls flocked to this wonderful guild. 'Bout time I say. But... then again... i'm one of them too... I saw a pretty big stack of these comics down at the comic store in my town but... I couldn't reach them to take a peek inside. I havn't seen them there since but maybe they just got moved into the sad back room with all of those unsellable thor comics and extra issues of cable. :/ Maybe one day I'll ask.

LOL I love how the yaoi fangirls are slowly trickling out of the cyberspace cracks. ^_^ I remember the locally owned bookstore in my town had yaoi manga on a table once and I spent and hour looking at the titles going, "this is crap, oh this is good, mmm decent, dude! no way! awesome yaoi!!!" I scared them.
I haven't read the Drizzt comics, but I have seen them....I hate how Jarlaxle looks. HATE it. It's as bad as the LKH Anita Blake series comics

Had I money to fling around-- I'd totally buy the whole stack and contest them (ha like I'd just give something away) off to you guys. :3 It would be epic. For now though... no such luck.
I saw a couple of the anita blake comics at a HalfPrice Book Store... I've never read the novels but, somehow I had a feeling most of the men in there should NOT have been as awkward looking as they were...

They obviously wanted to tone down the sex appeal, I suppose.

Dark_Lily13 They obviously wanted to tone down the sex appeal, I suppose. DX That has got to be one of the worst moves they could ever make if that was the case. I can't imagine what their marketing team must have said to the artists, but it had to be fail-worthy.
