Ryu woke early that morning and walked through the empty halls to his classroom. He set a rather large bag on the table and began pulling out different items and placing them throughout the room. Above the blackboard he hung a large wooden fan with a beautiful scene of a waterfall on the blades. In one back corner he sat up a replica suit of samurai armor. On top of the cabinet in the other corner, in a sealed display case, he set a sword display, showcasing an intricately designed Tanto, Wakizashi, and Katana.
After that, Ryu went around the room, writing common Japanese phrases on the board, and hanging posters on the wall with instructional material on them. When he was satisfied, he sat at his desk and relaxed, enjoying a cup of coffee and reading a book.

 Jelena KozlovRunning down the hallway her hair flapping around her in a complete and utter mess, Jelena rubbed her eyes with one hand; grabbing the door knob with the other she pushed it open to Ryu's classroom. Yawning loudly she stretched out her arms over her head and made a grunting noise. Looking at her watch briefly she realized it was now 10:27, "Wow i'm sorry i'm late Ryu. I over slept by a lot." Glancing over at him she saw that he was sitting at his desk with a book in hand and a coffee cup sitting on his desk. Shrugging impishly she gave a small smile and went over to his desk, yawning again she jumped up and sat down on the corner of his desk. Jelena looked dead tired, but better yet she looked like a monstrosity, everything about her this morning was off, and worse yet she was definitely tired beyond belief.

More concerned about her appearance than the time, Ryu said "That's ok, but are you? You look terrible, and I'm going to need you to be at your best when we start practicing." His stomach rumbled, and Ryu realized that he had not eaten yet that morning. "Are you hungry? I hear that the cafeteria food is somewhat edible here."

Jelena Kozlov "Don't worry about me i'll be fine. Breakfast sounds delicious right now though." Running her fingers threw her hair she coughed softly and got up off of the desk. Pulling her skirt down she fixed herself and glanced at Ryu for a second, "Let's go" winking at him she laughed and ran for the door. Pushing it open she raced down the hallway turning toward the cafeteria in a dash.
