Need Help
As you can see above, I need help in making the staff for Tsukasa. I know how to make the staff base. I think... PVC pipe... I think that's what I was going to use. ANYWAY~ I need to know what I can do to make the top of his/her staff.
Thank you!!

Several ways to do it. Cheapest is probably paper mache, with either a cardboard base or window screen. Make it hollow, layer the paper mache enough and it will be very durable.
Wonderflex or friendly plastic are good too.. however can get costly. They are thermal plastics, heat them up a little and you can mold them easily, however beware of leaving it in a hot car for too long, as it may get melliable enough that any pressure can leave an impression, including the carpet from inside the trunk of a car >.>

I've said it before and I'll say it again, because I can't say enough about it.
Paper clay. Relatively affordable, easy to work with, air dries, sandable, paintable... the works. It's wonderful stuff. Plus, your prop will be nice and light.

wow, didn't notice a wavemaster thread...I feel dumb now. I was asking about the top for an Elk wavemaster staff. The orb is easier on mine than the tsukasa one...but the scuplting on the top part looks daunting at best. I will have to look into paper clay, as it is new to me...as is construction of something like this in general, but I'm trying ^^;
