I will not be winning of course, but I'll still enter. Contestants: Caelan Hunter Okay, here's mine! Like yours, TO-kO, all of my items are usually somewhere else in the house until I need them, because I don't have the space for a dedicated altar. The center piece of my altar is a wrought iron candle holder with spaces for 5 candles, which I have arranged according to element. White on the top for Spirit, aqua-green and gold to the left and right for water and air, cadmium and brown below those for fire and earth. When I find things around outside (a perfectly-shaped pine cone, an awesome looking barn owl feather, etc) I bring them in, and sometimes I bring some books with me to the table if what I'm doing requires some instruction or more knowledge. I also have a mini tarot deck, various tumbled gemstones and - my favorite! - my custom made amethyst bracelet. Also shown are some of my essential oils and a bag of loose sage leaves for blessing things, making incense or cleaner, or other useful concoctions. I do not yet have an athame or cauldron, but I'm working on it! The mat beneath everything changes colors with the seasons or my livingroom decor. 3nodding thelegendaryvex Ok well I have a lot of pictures. This is only because I can't have my alter up at all times. So these are the pitures of my "unused" alter. This is what my alter looks like when it's set up. The objects on my alter: Box : Holds all of my items I don't use daily. (male and female candles, hand fasting rope, red marker, ect.) Large Hen : Holds all my miniture candles. (I find miniture candles better to work with since I don't have a lot of area.) Small Hen: Holds string (has special sentamental value in my workings) Candle holders : ... To hold candles Skull cup : Holds my insence Rose : It's a pen. I use it to write down spells. Plate/candle holder : Used to hold herbs and burn things. Bear, mirror, metal acor, tiny potery: These are all objects I use to hold energys, reflect them, anoint in oil for easy carrying and such. PriestessSypha I would love to enter but I'm not a member of photobucket. Do I need to be to post a pic? I have a daily devotional altar that I have set up all the time. It is simple and if you didn't know it was an altar you would never guess otherwise. It has an earth mother goddess statue, a barn owl statue, a bowl that I keep filled with water and rose petals as an offering, a couple of candle holders, an abalone shell for incense, and a wooden box that holds small items like stones and trinkets. I try to visit this altar daily although sometimes it is more like every other day. That is why I have water in my bowl because it forces me to tend the altar every few days because I have to change the water, which makes me give another offering, so I say my prayer and if anyone I know is in need I light a candle for them. Blessings )O( Dustin_Rose Well hell in that case. base / I have an old rodiorn table that I found by a dumpster. cover / I have a shimmery black cloth that I use to cover it. Everything I have fits into a large shoe box that I put under the table when I'm not using it. I use chalk for symbols on my floor, it's wood. I have a crystal dish for water and a matching one for salt. I use sea salt, because I can get it on my own. It takes days and it's not safe to eat. I just find it more important to use things that I get myself rather then buy. I have an insence holder made from bark of a tree. My friend made it for me. I some clay candle holders, some painted some plain. They were all given to me. I decorate it with my prized shells I have found. I also collect fresh dirt or sand from outside each time. I put it in a metal bowl that another friend of mine made when taking blacksmithing classes. I think that's about it. There are some other things I use, but they are very personal and I would rather not talk about them right now. Not in a contest at least. jypsie-lady ok, ok, i'll enter xd yikes, i should've cleaned the mirror first, it looks so much better in person.

If I'm the only entrant besides you, TO-KO, does that automatically mean I win? Haha

My grandmother told me I would burn in hell for ganging out with Maya. lol Do you have an alter picture to submit. Right now you would be winning some gold just for posting it. 3nodding I don't have a camera... So I'm kind of out of the running.

Same here. I'm not good with digi cams but I've got a friend who is so hopefully I'll get some in a week for the site. I have a shed where I can do my spell work and salve making. It's mine and no one else goes inside. The local teens think I'm some kind of serial killer or an evil psycho! LOL
