But unfortunately it's hit a brick wall, and am in need of some assistance. See I was looking around and want to draw each of the characters as an anthro, and that's where the problem is I don't know what to do for each character. So I thought I would ask around fellow fans suggestions. Just so you know I really want to be able to have features stick out, like Zedd's fly away hair. I also have a list of characters that I really want to do: Richard (Obviously) - Sun Bear, Lion Kahlan - DONENicci - Falcon Cara - Fox, PantherDenna - Lynx, MinxBerdine - DONENathan - Turtle Zedd - Great Horned Owl Adie Darken Rahl - Snake, Lion Jagang - Bull, King Cobra Chase Rachel - Bunny And if you want to see me do others I'm more than willing to do them too, please also suggest what you think they should be too. I'll update this post with the suggestions given and then I'll have an idea on what I'm doing. whee sweatdrop

That sounds pretty cool. I can't draw too well....but the things i do draw are pretty cool.
I have one question, what's an anthro?

I think Jagang should either be a bull, as that is a strong description of him in the books, and apparently very suiting, or a King Cobra. It somehow seems to fit.
I think a Sunbear (specifically, yes) might make for an unusually fitting choice for Richard. Representing a sort of King of the Forest type thing. They're also black and gold, which become Richard's colors, when he obtains his War Wizards' uniform. Further more, people have two perseptions of bears: intimidating and dangerous, or cute, soft and gentle. Richard is all of these things.
I thought of a few things for Kahlan, Horse, Wolf, Tiger, Swan, for two (probably) obvious reasons: They can all be represented in white, and are commonly known as some of the top most graceful creatures on Earth. Not particularly original choices, unlike my previous choices, I think the white wolf would be the best bet, representing white, as well as a graceful, lethal beauty, and steadfast, ferocious loyalty. Not aggressive, but very territorial. No mercy when home is threatened. ^^

Thanks that gives me a lot to work with, and I love the ideas that you gave me for Jagang because I wanted something that represented deadly when it came to him. I love the idea for Richard, I really enjoy the ideas that you gave for Kahlan I might go with the wolf though.

I really do like the wolf idea. I've been lucky enough to meet one.
My mom once knew someone who knew this guy who was crazy about wolves. Everything in his house was about wolves. He had a huge backyard and part of it was caged off and he had two wolves kept in there. One was a half-breed female, all white, named Cheyanne. The other was much larger, male, pure-bred, brown/black named Apache.
We went over there once and he let the female out to run around in the yard. She was beautiful, graceful, and playful. He got to pet and hug her. It was really awesome.
Apache, on the other hand, being much larger, male, and 100% wolf, could not be let out for us, for obvious reasons. He would be too over-powering should anything go wrong and because of the presence of the female, would be too protective.
But yeah, I've always loved wolves and a white wolf would be the best form to represent Kahlan in.

Maybe for Nicci you could use a black falcon. Falcons are graceful, beautiful birds, but at the same time are very deadly and have been recorded at diving speeds of 200 mph. They're fast, and strike hard. You don't want to be in the path of this bird.

I've been thinking about Cara, but haven't had any good ideas yet. I think Nathan should be a turtle, (they live long, and suprizingly amazing in their element) and I think Zedd should be a Great Horned Owl (wisdom, predator, performs nocturnally, like Zedd, if compare age of darknesses to night). ...I Hear Sound Echo In The Emptiness, All Around, But You Can't Change This Loneliness. Yeah, Cara was a hard one for me too. There's nothing vicious or relentless that's red, other than a snake. And i don't think any snake can compare to Cara twisted
But i guess it doesn't have to be red, though it should be preferred. It could be brown, which opens up a whole lot more options.

What about a red doberman for Cara, they are beautiful dogs and are really protective and loyal.

I think Adie could be a Raven; she's intelligent, and for some reason when I think old lady I think raven. x3
Darken Rahl could be a snake more than Jagang could in this case, he was more devious I find, not as susceptible to use force as Jagang would, though I'd say a Black King Snake would do better for Rahl, or a Diamond Head, something that looked vicious. :3 At first a scorpion was what came to mind for me though. o.o But that's an insect. x3
Cara could possibly be a Fox, she has guile, or maybe a panther. The way she cares for Richard, and treats him sometimes like a little brother or as though she were a doting mother - in her own weird way - reminds me a lot of the way Guenhwyvar, the Astral 400-pound black panther, acts towards her friend Drizzt Do'Urden, the Dark Elf. :3 A panther would be cool. x3
I thought Denna might have been a Mink, or even a Lynx (with those pufty ear tips x3). She was more caring than other Mord Sith, but was clever enough not to show it, so perhaps a Fox would be better for her than Cara.
