Those things require high humidity and electricity so while they might work in parts of the US and other wealthy countries, they're of no use in say Haiti or Sub Saharan Africa where bottling companies are going in and inciting war to drive out the indigenous populations so that they can buy up the water rights. Very poor countries are not going to be able to afford something like this.
