All the topics on this guild seem to be about the new album, Indestructible, but I wanted to know, who here thinks that The Sickness was a good album. I personaly think it was the best. Also, what are you favorite tracks on that album? Personaly, Violence Fetish, or, of course, Down With The Sickness.

It's their best album. Second best is Ten Thousand Fists.

Eh, ten thousand fists has really grabed my attention lately. It has a hypnotic sound to most of its' songs, including overburdened. The Sickness, however, focuses more on thrashing and loud music. So they both got it good. I think believe was pretty good, taking to alternative/rock-metal, giving a nive repreve from hard core music. Indestructible sounds like a cross over of the sickness and ten thousand fists. But it also has a unique sound, so...yah... Disturbed FTW!!!

I've come to believe The Sickness is rather repetitive, has poor and simplistic songwriting, etc. It's not bad, but to me it's lesser compared to Believe (my favorite) and Ten Thousand Fists. All 3 had a strong bulk of good content, but Indestructible was half good, half total s**t.

Honestly in most bands, their first albums are always the best.

I love The Sickness, in fact it's usually the CD I play in my car all the time.
