Physical Description: Niji is around 6'3 and 210 lbs. He is large and at the same time his muscles are very toned and rather large. He wears multiple chains over his sleeveless shinigami uniform. His hair is long, shimmering, and a dark purple color. When becoming frustrated or enraged, his muscles tend to grow in size and tense up to an extreme state. Because of his large size, it is said that he wouldn't be very fast, but he disproves that statement every single time someone brings it up.

Zanpakuto Name and Sealed Description: Touketsu Jigoku: A normal Katana with a light blue leather. There is nothing really special about the katana itself, but that is the beauty behind it. It represents his subtle attitude towards life in general.

Shikai: Normal Kanata,Light blue blade with an ice cloth around Niji's hands. It has the ability to gather energy and shoot out a large ray of ice from the tip. It also has the ability to spray a mist that when it touches something, the other particles shoot to the hit on and cover it with ice."Kanki Kasumi". Another known ability is Hanos Void, which creates a dome around the fighters and Niji is able to seep into the ice and attack from any side. He can only stay in the ice for 5 seconds and after doing it two times, the ice melts away and cannot be redid that day due to the mass usage of reiatsu.

Born "Niji Kuroi Bara" on September 2nd, 1982, Niji was a healthy Japanese American boy. His parents raised him well, until the rape of his mother when he we 7. Leaving his mother in emotional and mental distress, Niji had to begin learning things on his own, seeing his father was working very hard, trying to keep a steady income coming into the home.

Excelling in his school work, Niji didn't find it hard to make friends in which he could count on to be there for him. Unlike most Japanese people, Niji ended up being rather tall and built, seeing as his mothers father was a respected Marine. Niji had a decent childhood, considering his circumstances. He loved playing Soccer, but could only really fit in as a goalie because of his rather large size. In High School, Niji played Soccer for the school and help bring forth a large amount of wins in comparison to the schools 0 wins from the year before.

Niji was very good friends with a boy named Justin. After graduating, Niji and Justin moved out west to try and find work. Eventually becoming Firefighters, Justin and Niji worked hard to save the people of the California town they lived in. One day though, Justin was sent out to fight the California Wildfires. Sadly, he never came back.

Mourning the death of his only true friend, Niji moved back east... the very far east. He used the little money he had to get a plane ticket to Tokyo. Living out the dream of many, Niji worked as a chef in a Ramen shop downtown. Eventually, sketchy characters began to come into the Ramen shop regularly. The characters would always try to have small talk with Niji, mostly asking how he was able to become so large for a Japanese man. Always smiling and making smartass statements, Niji was easily able to get them to go away.

Eventually, the characters finally came in as a group. They asked Niji to come with them, showing off their shiny guns behind their trench coats. Not wanting to endanger any of the customers, Niji closed up the shop and followed the men. The men finally revealed themselves to be up-and-coming mobsters, looking for people to muscle for them. Not feeling like he had a choice, Niji gave them a very convincing "Maybe". Immediately after, Niji moved out of Tokyo and into a more rural area of Japan. There, he lived quietly until his final day...

December 18, 2006, a day in which is scarred into Niji mind even as a soul. That was the day that he met the only girl he had ever had feelings for. Mustering up the courage to ask her out on a date, Niji and the girl went into the city for a day on the town. Niji looked rather different than he did back when he was working in the Ramen shop. His black hair was much shorter and had multiple colors for his overgrown bangs. Sitting down to get a bite to eat, a masked robber held the shop at gunpoint and ordered everyone to get down onto the ground. Obeying at first, Niji patiently waited for the singular robber to come close enough to him. Niji jumped forward and pinned him to the ground. The robber was obviously a native Japanese man seeing he was extremely small light, nothing for Niji to worry about. As Niji held the robber down, two more men crashed through the glass door, both holding shotguns. Grabbing the gun from the robber he had pinned, Niji flipped his personal hostage to be on top of him, taking most of the force coming from the two shotguns. Pointing the gun he now possessed, Niji was able to shoot down the two men who just came in. Niji himself only experienced a minor wound on his left arm, a small bit of shrapnel that came from the floor. The fellow resturant goers raved for him, deeming him a hero. Smiling at the girl he was on a date with, Niji instantly earned her affection, emotional and physical. That same day, Niji was walking home from an amazing time with his new girlfriend and ran into some old "friends". The men from before noticed the wound on his arm and assumed he was the man who ruined their gangs heist. Pulling out their handguns, they shot Niji dead right then and there. Both of them emptied their mags onto Niji, assuring that he would not be getting up this time.
