This is a Watchmen roleplay that starts in the year 2000. The setting is New York, crime is out of control and the cops think they're doing a good job when all they really are is corrupt. Long after the masks and villains are said to have been a thing of the past. A man stumbles upon an old journal that had the name Rorschach inside of it. He becomes intrigued with it and decides to do become a mask. He starts gathering up other people that are mask or wanting to join them.
Send me profile of either hero, villain, or neutral. You can have powers but you'll have to give a back story on it and has to seem somewhat legible. Don't overpower yourself (i.e. Dr. Manhattan) or god modding. You can't just instantly kill someone either (Ex: Blowing them up or decapitating them or some other ridiculous way.) unless you have that person's permission to kill them. I understand we may have to every now and then but we will all know when it is needed. Let the heroes vary and be diverse! Everyone doesn't have to be normal but don't go overboard. Most importantly of all have fun!! ^_^

Bio: When Veidt killed half of New York Johnathon Winters lost his entire family while he was on a school trip to California which drove him to become Nightwalker.
Secret Identity Bio: John doesn't exist there is only Nightwalker John died along with his family in New York. Nightwalker uses John as just an alias to get closer to the enemy
Appearance: Wears a black eye mask to cover his eyes and has slick back black hair. He wears black boots and a utility belt and a black longsleeve that is made of Nylon fiber that allows him to move freely

She earned enough to get herself an apartment. She becomes skilled enough to steal from small businesses. Secret Identity Bio: Lafayette is a assassin who only works at night, police have nicknamed her the 'lady of the night'. She is yet to be caught. Geoff had just finished up his work day as the sun slowly begin to set. He walked into a distant alley retrieving his katana from in between the dumpsters. He equipped himself as he walked into the night. Faint screams where heard in the distance but he knew he couldn't reach them in time. Just another rape killing in the scab of New York. It was sad that even though it was the 21st century life had remained the same only growing technologically advanced. He turned down into an alley and climbed up onto a rooftop. He pulled out the journal he had discovered a few days ago. It revealed so much truth, so much honesty, so much heart. He wanted to further understand what had happened fifteen years ago between this Rorschach and the Watchmen. He heard the whores trying to lure people in from up on the rooftop. It was pity that even though he took it upon himself to become a new hero it all felt like nothing was changing.

Lafayette crossed her legs, gazing upon the lights of the city from her seat on one of the many tall buildings. She wondered who she would kill tonight, her informant hadn't called her with the target's information yet. She uttered a brief sigh and stood up, raising her arms to stretch. She then turned her attention back to the city lights. She had never liked it here, but in this game of life, she was forced to stay. She felt like a puppet on strings, controlled by some greater force.

Spectre heard the sound of a woman's scream coming form the alley below him. He quickly climbed down and witnessed a man trying to rape the woman. He slowly approached them. "Leave her alone." He made a stern voice.
The man turned his head towards Spectre. "Get the hell outta here ya loser. Mind ya own bizness." He then went back to stripping the woman.
Spectre placed his hand on the man. "That was your only warning." He threw the man away from the woman. She scurried behind a nearby trashcan shuddering. The man, with his pants half down, climbe to his feet pulling his pants back up. He swung at Spectre but only caught air. Spectre quickly grabbed the man's arm and twisted it behind his back. His arm slightly popped as he applied pressure. The man groaned in pain. "Not tonight, pal." He elbowed the guy hard in the back of the head. The man fell onto the ground unconscious. Spectre looked at the woman. She was still trembling, traumatized from what just happened. "Go home as quick as you can and forget about what happened tonight." He turned away from her but before he exited the alley she asked him his name. He simply replied. "Spectre." He then walked away into the streets.

Nightwalker had gone to the same seen as Spectre had. He had arrived only seconds after the Rapist had killed the poor girl, but he still managed to catch the Rapist. It only took one hit from his staff to take him down. He pulled his rope out of his utility belt and hung the uncouncious raper from a drying line by his feet and left a bleeding cut of the Nightwalker insignia a demented looking N next to an W across the Rapists bare chest. He wanted to kill him, but didn't want to fall into the category of the infamous Rorschach. Nightwalker stood on the ledge of the tall New York Building looking out over the city with a strange discust

After some time had passed, a voice came from the walkie talkie beside her.
"Lady of the Night, Report."
Lafayette scoffed in annoyance. "I'm here...." She muttered, picking the gadget up and glanced at it idly.
"Target Confirmed. William Henry."
Lafayette gave a quick nod, "Affirmative." She had seen the target on the tv before, he was a politician; a corrupt one. It seemed that he had missed some payments, and the mob wanted him dead. It was always like that whenever one had missed their time of payment, she was called in.

Canaveral Secret Identity:Jason Faringham Sex:Male Sexuality:Straight Personality:Is cold calculating cruel and savage Bio:Has been a mob boss for years but now he has gotten his hands on new experimental rockets and crap and now has gone to be a supervillain. His paln:World domination Secret Identity Bio:As a child he was abused then his father died and his mother went to prostitution. he is old and grew up with a young Walter Kovacs and after he found out that he was Rorschach he has since adopted a cruel sense of justice. But applies it to those who defy him. Appearance:  Powers:has many rockets hidden on his body and even more in storage. has no powers. Weapons:rockets, guns, explosives, super strong and his shear sense of damaging a human by talking to them.

As Spectre walked further down the street it started to rain. He didn't mind it. He drifted past an old rundown apartment building that gave off noises the from the neighborhood crackheads. "Pity..."he thought. Any ol' drug head can break into a building and start his own get together. He continued his walk down the street. He stopped by and looked at the old scrapyard that used to be a garage owned by Hollis, the first Nite Owl. Spectre always wondered what happened to Old man Hollis' protege. He shook his head as he continued towards his own home.
