Which starter pokemon did you choose for your games originally? What was your first ever pokemon? Did you give them nicknames?
My first ever pokemon was Totodile on Pokemon Crystal.
I've also chosen Torchic, Mudkip, Piplup and Squirtle in the past. (and Pikachu on yellow but there isn't much choice. xD )
Also this doesn't count if you restarted the game to gain a different pokemon for another game.

Besides Pikachu, my first starter was Bulbasaur. Then I picked Chikorita for Johto, Mudkip for Hoehn and Piplup for Sinnoh. I never pick fire for whatever reason...

Let's see...I think there was Chickorita, Pikachu, Totodile, Mudkip, Treecko, Bulbasaur, and Turtwig.
I rarely choose fire types.

ugh...this is going to be hard as i started playing pokemon about 11 years ago...i think it went pikachu, charmander, cyndaquil or totodile (i don't remember which), treecko, piplup. and that's not counting doubles i had of the games.

I always chosed either the Grass or Water type pokémon because they are my favorite types!!! but in my Fanfic i get a Ditto as my starter and he is always with me!!! ^_^

For me, it was:
Kanto: Squirtle
Johto: Cyndiquil
Hoenn: Torchic
Sinnoh: Piplup (Although I wish that I would have chosen Chimchar (._.') ).
I don't really like to give them nicknames, but occasionally I will.

Usually I choose
Kanto: Charmander (but sometimes when I re-play I choose Bulbasaur)
Johto: Chikorita
Hoenn: Mudkip (although I don't really like any of these starters...)
Sinnoh: Turtwig
I have a lot of Charmander love 3nodding
I almost always do nicknames... right now in Pearl my Pokémon are all named after philosophers, heehee.

Pikachu was my first ever one on my yellow version, not that there was much of a choice. lol. I chose totodile on both silver and crystal, Torchic for the ones that take place in the Hoenn region, piplup for pearl and Platinum, and Cyndiquil for Heart Gold (I have the Japanese version). I will be getting Totodile for the English version of Soul Silver when it comes out. I have it on reserve. biggrin
