THIS IS WHAT'S UP

I'm only allowing the 6 elements (stated below) and one of each sex, two of each in other words, multiplay if you want. If your character has been with government till recent escape their powers are more advanced but their on the run more, their also changed more. For example, Rowen, read the post in pink below this. In your intro we need to know how long they were with the government, what their element is- I'll read, but if I can't tell I'll PM and ask you so I can mark it off the list. The list below is availability. It is color coded for easy reference, you do not have to color code your posts according to element unless you are playing more than one character, but then it is still not required. Please link all pictures of reference. I prefer to have you describe very well, but pictures are cool. Just remember, some people might not click the link so you might still have to describe. It'll be good for you, don't worry.

In the forest, hidden beneath the trees, under the brush, and beneath the roots of trees lay someone very hidden, Rowen, the Earth element, deep within her element, which she could do since she was Earth. Curled into a tiny little mound no one would see, she slept peacefully, this was her haven from the government that looked for the branded Elementalists. It was true, if anyone were to see an elementalists' wrist they would see the brand of their element they had gotten from the government for the experiments they had done. Now those days were over, the elementalists were free, and now in hiding. Who wanted someone that could let the earth swallow beings whole loose within human world? No one. For that reason Rowen was hiding, her older brother, off somewhere, being an Air Elementalist, probably drifting through clouds. Rockwell was two years older and used air to listen in to all of Rowen's conversations, the nosy little brat. Not so much little, he was twenty one, after all, but all the same. In her sleep, she turned, causing the earth to shift all the way above her, a small quake only the trees, and whom ever may be directly above her would feel, a soft one at that. The ground gave a small moan it would seem as she sighed in her sleep, the power of an elementalist was unlimited and the government evidently didn't like that. But Rowen wasn't a threat, no, she was kind enough, sarcastic, yes, but kind enough. She gave to the poor, even though she herself was homeless. But of course being Earth, dirt just didn't stick with her somehow. She could will dirt, dust, grime, off her and be done with that.

Clad in the usual wear of herself, a black trench, a rose colored velvet turtle neck with bell sleeves of see-through silk no one saw and hip hugging jeans with concealed black knee high boots, she slept beneath the surface off all beings, where no one but another earth elementalist could get her. Deep, in her moist, dark haven she slowly began to dream of things normal nine-teen year old girls would dream about. Boys, movies, making vines spiral from the ground and suck enemies into the dirt- waaait, not normal. Well, normal enough for Rowen. When the government had been training her, to see all they could really do, they told her all she was capable of. She could manipulate earth, make earthly things come from the ground, part the ground, and such. Along with every other element, she had more than enough power. Though Rowen only knew how to make vines, and make trees grow, plants, the usual things. She could hear their screams when wood cutters came for paper, and hear them cry for help when they were burned as logs. And how it pained her. But Rowen hadn't even found her limits yet, she didn't want to. She could pretend she was normal, she could do that. If she found out all of the possibilities, if she learned everything, then she wasn't normal, then this nightmare was REAL. She didn't want it to be real. How very vain her hopes were because deep down she knew the government was after her, she was screwed in the highest way possible. But she could face down to the very inner edge of the Earth's crust, and nothing could reach her there, she was safe there, no one would find her there. Then this reality was not a reality, then it was all a dream.

Rowen had been taken when she was four, captive until she was eighteen. That meant she had been prisoner for fourteen years, her abilities with the earth were amazing- but then again, Rowen was amazing. She was the earth. Her eyes, once a lovely hazel, were now green as the leaves around her. Her hair served as roots to absorb nutrients and water, she didn't even need to eat. Her skin served as her breathing, taking in carbon dioxide and breathing out, through her pores, oxygen. Even now, under the ground, at any sound above her she would awake. The sound would be amplified through the ground towards her. The earth protected her. She could feel the footsteps of anyone in the forest, she could hear the grass grow, feel it growing, stretching its blades forth to the sky, eager for the sunlight, eager for the rain. The second she would waken would mean she'd shoot up from where she was and rise from the earth. She was always curious, always wanting to know more people, talk. But she had to stay hidden. Buried.

A gentle breeze rolled along the lake, not that Ayame knew it. Several feet below the surface the young elemental slept soundly in a small rowboat at the bottom of the lake. If the water was cold she never felt it, it was perfect to the girl no matter what the temperature or weather. Stirring slightly in her dreams, her once love spoke to her, calling her out of sleep as old memories flooded to the surface clouding her mind with times before the government came for her, before her life was torn apart and she was forced into hiding. Aya had been 17 years old and in love as all teens believe that their love is special and there would never be another, that he was the man she was meant to marry when the government came. They only had her for two long years before she managed to escape, but by then her life had ended. Returning to her home town the 19 year old had found her boyfriend engaged to her once best friend and found all of his promises had meant nothing. A sob escaped her the dreams as he walked away from her, taking her heart with him as a small bubble slipped between her waking lips to float to the surface breaking the calm of the waters.

As her dream ended and the girl jerked away the crystalline waters flooded with mud as her sudden movement churned the waters but she merely closed her eyes as a yawn over took her sending small bubbles of air floating to the surface. Instead of letting it settle, Aya swam to the surface climbing out onto a dead log within the waters. Away from the darkness of the waters, her pale skin looked as if it had been touched by the moon, only made lighter by her midnight hair that framed her face. Full pouty lips had once been cherry red but as with the rest of her life the loss of her heart seemed to have faded her within to the color of a cyanotic purple. Unlike her love, Aya had meant every word she spoke, every time she had said she loved him and when he left she lost her trust in the world and the growing abilities she found within the water could not fill the space he left.

Despite having just left the water, her black cowl neck sweater was dry, just as the black jeans and leather ankle boots she wore remained dry. Even as a child she had loved the water but now it had a whole new meaning. She could feel where the water met up with the ocean, the creatures that moved within, and as her powers grew she began to feel more uncomfortable upon the land, much like a fish out of water it felt as if she was leaving part of herself behind, but she was hungry and what few things she had did not fare as well as she under the waters. Smiling as a bit of fog was rolling off the waters she walked across the top of the lake her foot steps making only the barest of ripples where any other would fall through, next to a fallen long upon the shore she had hidden a pack and she silently crept off the surface of the lake to get it. With a small bone structure and average weight for her size, she was fairly good at hiding her 5’3” form but still she didn’t want to take chances so early within the day not standing completely up as she made her way and grabbed the pack. No sooner than her hand had closed around the strap she sprinted back across the surface to the floating log to eat her breakfast. To any unknowing soul it would look as if some poor girl had just swam out and gotten stuck or not had the strength to get back, who would she be to correct them.

-:here we go:-

Rowen's green eyes snapped open the second she felt one footstep on her earth. Then a few more. Then they were gone, there was no one on Rowen's earth. Rowen's lithe body 'swam' under the surface of the earth, molding to the dirt, roots, and all else. She could go through them because they were related to her- that and many could call her a wood nymph. Rowen's form rose in the shadow of a tree, Rowen's eyes couldn't cut through the fog that well. Slowly she sunk back into her earth, only to resurface under the waters edge. Because Rowen was what she was the muddy bottom of the lake wouldn't stir.

Her hair spread out in long lengths around her, absorbing the sweet liquid she needed to live off of. Her long legs kicked and she surfaced in the middle of the lake. It was refreshing, though swimming would probably be a lot easier if, perhaps, she didn't have jeans on. Granted, under her jeans, she had boxers then girl panties, but jeans were heavy in the water.

OCC | Bah, I just went dead and couldn't think of anything to continue.

Ayame slowly nibbled on a protein bar but mostly drank the water she had packed with her at her last visit within the town. She didn’t know why but the more her powers developed the less her stomach seemed to tolerate solid food but despite the fact it made her sick she wanted at least a little something to keep from becoming malnourished. There had been so much the government hadn’t explained to her and at times it made her regret running away from them for all the good it did, she wasn’t sure if it caused greater harm to herself.

When a foreign object entered the water she looked across the lake and the fog she loved so dearly, and had unknowingly caused, following the object with her eyes until it surfaced making the girl wonder where it had come from for she didn’t remember anything actually entering the waters. Silently reloading the things into her pack she zipped it up sliding it onto her shoulders the best she could as she rose to her feet upon the log debating what to do.

Cutting her gaze across once more she was sure it was human and fear resurfaced within her loosing all thoughts of voluntarily returning to the government. Stepping of the log onto the surface of the water a slip drip could be heard as ripples spread out from under her feet taking a tentative step before bolting. Then another thought crossed her mind as she sprinted across the surface. Could the person swim? How long could they tread water? This was quite a large lake and she was in the shallow end that was only 20 feet deep. What if they tried to follow her out to the deep end. Keeping in touch with the water she monitored it for the being that had found her hideaway. Just to make sure they didn’t drown or drop below the surface for too long.

That's Fine. Enter Ayame! The heartbroken, scaredy cat, water elemental! XD ))

-:here we go:-

Rowen drifted down through the bottom of the lake, water was amazing but Rowen's domain was the earth. Just as she had appeared in the water she had disappeared, coming up to the closest shore. She stripped off her jeans and threw them over a tree branch- belonging to a tree that had not been there two seconds ago. She did the same with her shirt, leaving her in a sports bra and boxer shorts. She was again gone into the depths of the water.

She enjoyed how it caressed her skin, which, after the government was done, had the feel of a ripe peach. She didn't often go swimming, sometimes she would get water logged and end up vomiting up just water for hours. She figured she'd be okay now, it hadn't rained for a few weeks, she was in need of water. Besides, Rowen knew her limits. She stayed under the water for quite a while, she didn't need to go up to the surface for oxygen, she just had to stick a hand up to refresh her breathing. Then the water around her bubbled slightly from the oxygen that was exhaled through her pores. Rowen made the lake like a spa around her.

Running swiftly across the top of the lake, her feet fell quietly like drops of water on the surface as she paused for a moment when the person left her waters but her relief was to be short lived when she assumed it was the same person entered again. With her worry, the fog over the lake increased until it was thick and opaque and she stopped walking crouching on the surface with her fingertips just barely touching waiting to take off again if they did not stop searching for her. Normally she would not have been so worried but the fact they were persistent was mainly what bothered her.

Purposefully heading to the larger end of the lake where the waters were deeper, it was easier to hide that way and some parts of the lake were easily a hundred feet deep if not more. The fog was a comfort as it swirled tightly around her as the point of origin but if only it was solid. A force she could use to keep out those who wished to find her, those who were hunting her. A shiver ran down her spine as the thing continued to get closer but she dared not to move a muscle except to shift her back causing a splash as her bottle of water fell from the holder and down into the water.

OOC:
That's Fine. I am still debating just how much of a coward to make her. XD But she will still have her moments. XD

((NOT GODMODDING I SWEAR. I already PM'd The_Doctors_Wife and we finished the end together.))

A malicious smile slowly spread across his lips as he observed his prey still attempting to eat solid food, it was adorable. Slowly slinking across the water top through the fog Jean-Claude had chosen the woman he wanted and now it was simply a matter of catching her but distaste crossed his features as something else caught her attention and she fled like a startled animal. However this distaste was short lived as the thrill of the hunt caught up with the man and he took off after her only vaguely paying attention to the other that perused.

Standing at six foot four inches tall with broad shoulders and a complexion the color of mocha, the man was impulsive and at times cruel but he was what the government had made him. Taken at birth, Jean-Claude had become an experiment before he could walk letting his powers develop and run wild with little to refuse him as long as he played their way.

Chasing the girl slowly he crept in on her, determined to have his prize but for a moment he had lost her. In the growing fog it made her harder to locate on top of the water than if she would just move through it and it made him rethink taking her during her sleep but that was the past. He would not loose her again. Unlike all other women he had run across, this woman captivated him with her pale skin and blue sapphire eyes. He had seen her before they escaped from the government and that was why he had left, to find her.

Hearing a splash, a predators smile lazed its way across his features making his angular face seem sharper, crueler, as he slunk across the water top before launching himself at the woman solidifying the water beneath them. Catching a hand behind her head, he kissed her forcefully silencing her scream with his mouth as he covered her body with his own until her powers overrode his own and the water gave way beneath them.

Aya moved her knees up between them trying, bubbles floating from her mouth as she tried to scream once more while his lips traveled. His arms were like a vice holding her to him relentlessly as he hands found their way up her shirt before he changed tactic pinning her wrists with one hand, his other went for her pants unzipping them before stopping suddenly as if realizing what he was doing. His black hair floated around him, his equally dark eyes lightening to a pale grey suddenly releasing her with a concerned look, “I haven’t hurt you have I?” Bubbles escaped his mouth as he spoke but unlike her silent screams, she could hear his words within the water, traveling through it.

-:here we go:-

Rowen bolted her face out of the water at the sound of a splash, Rowen's dark hair stuck to her skull and in the water if spread like ink. Ink as dark as night. Rowen's ears pricked, she was listening hard. Rowen's skin felt the water being shifted- scary... A small island rose where Rowen was- if the water moved she didn't want to be near it, the water was not where Rowen belonged. Rowen's senses made her wary of the water, of what was in it, what was happening in it. She had once stolen a movie, Gremlins, and somehow managed to make a mortal friend and they watched it. Right now that was all Rowen could focus on.

Evil green creatures that would want to kill and torment her, make mischief, ruining lives. Rowen back flipped into her self made tree- her body, during this back flip, bent at inhuman angles. Of course it did, Rowen was like a vine, she could twist her body very well. She didn't know why, she just knew she was flexible. Rowen was now at the top of this large willow tree, peering out through the curtains of leaves. Her green eyes were focused on the water, focused on where she thought there would be ripples. But how would Rowen know, there was this blasted fog, Rowen couldn't see a thing. Rowen had formed herself into a small ball on this branch, her eyes darting around as her hair clung to her body. It was a lovely evening, just like in horror movies. With one fluid motion Rowen feel- through the tree branches and where she would have ended up knocked out form her quick fall on the ground she kept going. She was now deeply seethed in the ground, safe. No one could get her down here, she would always be safe in the confines of the sweet, dark soil. The dirt and roots around her absorbed the liquid from her hair and skin, granted she would be covered in a thin layer of mud, but she could always control that.

OCC | I'll trust you, I supose. 3nodding I have no reason not to.

Had if not been for the water, Ayame would have been physically shaking as the man suddenly released her with a seeming change of heart. Pulling her shirt back down to cover herself she wouldn’t look at the man as her movements were slow and deliberate as she tried to slow her mind and yet use it to form a coherent thought at the same time. Assessing the damage, the button had been broken off her jeans as she pulled them back over her hips zipping them once more but she had quiet a few less answers than she had hoped to come up with during this simple process.

However she did have once answer, she wanted away from him. Taking a second to look him she didn’t meet his eyes but the look in hers was clear. He scared her and she wanted him to leave. Reaching for her pack, it was then she realized she was no longer wearing it, sometime during the scuttle, she had lost what few things she had left and then she made a choice. If the government was out there she wanted them to show up, to get this man away from her. Ayame’s body shifted a bit as a thin layers of webbing developed between her fingers before she darted off once more. Deciding it would be easier to run than swim with the shoes on she headed to the surface, the fog finally starting to fade as she decided she wanted to be seen.

Jean-Claude felt honestly remorseful for what he had tried to do to the girl. He was attracted to her, and he did want her but that didn’t justify attempting to rape her. Shaking his head when she didn’t answer he looked away to allow her some privacy as she fixed his clothes and he noticed as well he had lost her pack, though it wouldn’t be too much longer until she no longer needed it. The water could giver her all she needed.

Where as he noticed the woman was dressed beautifully, as if to meet someone, Jean-Claude was dressed simply in a pair of boxers covered with dark covered jeans. He wore no shoes or shirt, he carried no possessions on him for he didn’t need any. He traveled the waters for what he wanted and now that was this girl who stole his heart, and he had frightened half to death with his alternate personality.

Alternate may have been a bit harsh to describe his mood swings but there was almost the need to be. He couldn’t help how something small could set him off and he would change so quickly from a halfway decent being into a monster and the look in her eyes hurt him, and then she ran again. Following her underneath the water as she began to run on top of it, Jean struggled to control his emotions and not start the hunt again. He just wanted to speak with her and that was almost his mantra as he tried to block out the other thoughts and ideas that came.

You want apologies? Girl, you might hold your breath...

Rowen's lithe body stayed under the ground as she peeked her head out where she had left her jeans to see if the coast was clear. Someone was running across the lake, Rowen ducked under earth again, only a few strands of her hair staying above the ground. She peered up again, looking as she watched the figure across the water go away from her. Good. Rowen quickly came up long enough to grab her jeans, throw them on, and then darted off into the forest. She was quick- but the fact that she could go anything that wasn't man-made, well that helped a whole lot when running. She stopped abruptly and glanced around, Rowen was one hell of a creature, for she didn't stop in the middle of a clearing, or where there was no green- instead, she stopped in the center of a tree trunk, peeking her head out of the trunk to glance around.
With one last look around Rowen sunk towards the roots of the tree, waiting to feel any footsteps, waiting to know who was out. She really wished that she hadn't managed to make friends in the City and watch all those horror movies. Stupid horror movies.

Ayame knew she was being chased and on the water, he was gaining on her and there was little she could do about it but maybe there was another option. Changing her direction she crossed the lake sprinting as quickly as she could before going onto the land heading towards town. Even if there was no one that could help her out here, someone would see her then, exposed or not, she could go back into hiding later.

Running across the land she felt uncoordinated as with every step she took, there wasn't the tell tell give of the liquid motion. The earth was harder, more unforgiving but she wasn't far before she slipped over a root not far from the shore line. With no doubt the man was still chasing her she called out to him, "Why won't you just leave me alone!" her voice had a fluid quality to it with an almost tranquil tone laced with anger and frustration. Looking down at the torn out knee of her jeans bits of watered down blood oozed from the scrape as she wiped her eyes. She was tired of running. She was out of breath, and it was too early to have to deal with this. Ayame had never been a morning person and this was a good reason as to why. Horrible things always seemed to happen to her several hours before she wanted to be awake.

Jean-Claude chased after the girl beneath the water moving through as if he belonged to it instead of being a passenger for the ride when she suddenly changed course. Confused for a moment as the water began to shallow out he changed tactic. Jean had no illusions that he was the only elemental that had been released upon the world and within the water he was safe but as his luck would have it, the girl fell skinning her knee and a look of concern passed over his face.

Hearing her voice brought a smile to his lips as he was thankful he didn’t have to chase her any longer. Climbing from the waters for the first moments he looked as if he was made purely of water before his body solidified into his normal appearance as he walked to the very edge but made sure not to leave. Holding his hands up with his palms facing her in a sign of peace, his voice was calm and reassuring, “I don’t want to hurt you. I just want to talk to you.”

He didn’t have to see her face to know she would be skeptical of him. Just as he didn’t have to be an animal to smell her fear. He truly didn’t want to scare the girl at the moment but right now he just wanted her to sit still. It was amazing how fast she could run and it made him wonder just how long she had been running and he wanted to know more.
