Very good points SoraMee! I just don't have to say much on the Isaac thing.
I gotta say, I agree with you on most things. However, I don't think Richter mode was such a big waste. I liked it so much better than the Old Axe Armor mode for sure. I would have loved an Eric Lecarde mode instead where you could have seen exactly how Eric was defeated by that bald vampire and instead they just made a horrible mode with a horrible kind of enemy. Why not make a cooler enemy appear if they wanted to make an enemy be playable? Even a darn fleaman would have been more interesting to play as, me thinks.
rolleyes BTW, this makes me think of a new question for the week/month but I don't know if it will get enough attention anyways...
I find it odd that poor Charlotte didn't get to use some relics like the Griffin wing, for example. How come only Jonathan gets to super jump? No fair I tells ya! Right now my favorites are PoR and OoE. Mostly cuz I can just switch to another track in mid-play if I want to. I don't know why they waited so darn long to implement such a feature. DoS would have been even better if we could have done so as well; doesn't anyone agree with me?
Also, it seems to me that the only major flaw in PoR is the lousy dialogue. How is it possible that someone says:
"I find it odd to find a ghost not controlled by the castle's magic." I thought that was weird...
I also wish the sisters mode had been a bit more expanded, like you say.
The anime art in DoS reminded me that a neighbor of mine hated the game cuz Soma used a white ball to attack the enemies in the intro. He said something about how lame it was that they were trying to copy Dragon Ball but, I just assumed maybe they were paying some sort of homage to it. What does everyone else thinks on this?
I kind of agree with you on Julius mode of DoS but I kinda liked Yoko cuz she could heal herself with every strike of her weapon. The only bad thing about her was that her weapon had such short range. Maybe they were trying to make her very similar to Sypha...
I agree that enemy set mode wasn't as great and it requires two game cards for it to work. Why couldn't they made it as download play? I mean, it was only a few lousy parts of a made up castle, it's not like you had to compete through a more complex thing like in OoE.
Gee I... really went overboard there, didn't I?
