So recently, ive had a change of heart on one tattoo...But not sure what i will do. Everyone always tells me 'you'll regret getting a tattoo and all those piercings' its not the tattoo, its the thing behind the tattoo i dont know if i like. * Do you have a tattoo you regret?
* Did you do something about it or just leave it?

I don't have any regrets on my tattoos, but when I got the one on top of my foot done, I got a little freaked out about it. I am a major perfectionist, so I worried that it wasn't quite center and it was kind of a random tattoo, meaning I didn't put a whole lot of thought into it before getting it. I had a reference for it for my artist, but had changed my mind from what I was originally going to get. Eventually after a few touch ups from my artist I fell in love with it and never gave it a second thought. I love it. But I could see having regrets, because there have been a number of tattoos that I would like to get, but because they aren't cheap and it takes awhile to save for them, I have changed my mind a few times on what I want and where I want it. So, thinking it through completely and giving it time is the best thing to helping avoid as many regrets as possible. smile

Nope no regrets, I do wish I had went BIGGER on a some of them, because 20 years or so can do evil things to a tiny tattoo and fine lines. xp Example tiny red flower is now a tiny flower shaped black blob sort of. But since it is in a place that only my hubby or I ever sees, I can live with it.

Granny E Nope no regrets, I do wish I had went BIGGER on a some of them, because 20 years or so can do evil things to a tiny tattoo and fine lines. xp Example tiny red flower is now a tiny flower shaped black blob sort of. But since it is in a place that only my hubby or I ever sees, I can live with it. Bahaha! Yeah...my aunt has a pretty scary rose vine on her back, It used to be so dainty and delicate...

Thinking about it, my most recent tattoo could have been put in a better spot on my body.... it's my cat Pharaoh's eyemarking placed on my inner left bicep. Yes, that spot in particular has meaning with the placement..... when Phar was sick, his marking used to lay right on that spot when I held him (the tat is basically an imprint). It looks randomly placed until I tell people about it.... I think I should have probably put it in another spot on my body, but I have faith that it will look amazing once I get the rest of my arm (or at least my upper arm) done. But for the time being, it's a floater, so to speak! But I love my baby, so I would do it again in a heart beat.... just maybe a different spot.

Wolf- I wouldn't regret that tattoo. That's one that has meaning and significance, and as such, I think it is on par with some of the most important things in someone's life.
Personally, I do not, and will not, regret any of my tattoos. If I change my mind about something after the fact, it will still remind me of a time when I thought that the art was something significant, and that in itself has significance to me. By the time I'm dead I'll have my entire body tattooed (yes, including testicles and between the toes) so I can't afford to regret any of it.
