47 It's the cost of entry for the guild since it shows up in Alias often. Has anyone heard any theories on why 47 seems to be the "magic" number? I'd like to hear them if you have. Also, where have you seen the number show up on the show?

Pg. 47 in the whole Rambaldi thing. I don't quite remember if it was in a book or if it was just a bunch of notes or something.

KCchan Pg. 47 in the whole Rambaldi thing. I don't quite remember if it was in a book or if it was just a bunch of notes or something. I think it was in the book... it was empty and they had to use the vial to reveal it... I think it was the page where Sydney's picture showed up and said something about her bringing forth his works and something about utter desolation... sweatdrop At least, I think that was what was on page 47... I've heard that it's also the magic number on Star Trek or something... Maybe that's where JJ got it...? All I remember, is that it made it's appearance in the Pilot when Marshall wanted to get the lipstick camera to take 47 pictures since it's a prime number... xp

Star Trek, huh? I hadn't heard that. It's been too long since I've seen any Star Trek episodes, but that's very possible.

Captain Horsey Star Trek, huh? I hadn't heard that. It's been too long since I've seen any Star Trek episodes, but that's very possible. That's all I've heard, so I wouldn't be able to confirm that... sweatdrop I can't remember where I read it though... You need forty-seven blocks of memory to save for Harvest Moon 3nodding

But it was a whole prophecy thing were the girl pictured could destroy the world, but hadn't or would never see like a mountain range of some sort and they took Sydney there so that it could be proven false. And then they think that it could have been about Irena.

There has to be some significant meaning to 47. It shows up numerous times in the second season. Dixon has *47 Euros* *Server 47* etc. I have the second season on DVD, I'll have to watch it and record how many times *47* occurs.

I think they have a whole list (up to 'Resurrection') of when 47 pops up here. It quite interesting really... xd
