We all know that each Convention holds many new stories. So share those amusing Metrocon times here. (Pictures are also welcome)

well, it's not really amusing, or much of a story, but nobody else has posted here, so I might as well talk about my Metrocon experience...(and I'm bored xD)
We went in a .Hack//Sign group of 5. With a BT, Helba(me), Tsukasa, Subaru, and Maha. The costumes were thorwn together all in one week, so they weren't the best, but meh. Anyways, our Maha loves playing video games, so she spent the whole weekend in the video game room..BT and Subaru ran around getting hugs from people and stalking an AC Cloud, and a drunken Vash. Tsukasa and I were just running around in the dealers room, and every now and then trying to track down the others in our group (to no avail). So eventually we went to the main ballroom to look for Subaru and BT, but instead found 2 second-row seats. xD It was sometime in the afternoon..maybe 4:30-5ish...I forget what was going on then..maybe the Cosplay competition. But we sat there watching all the events up to Eyeshine..who was having technical difficulties so we left after a while..Then when we went out everyone was all like: "OMG where have you been all this time??" and then we found out it was 9pm. xD So that's where Saturday went, we didn't make it Friday, and Sunday we spent in line fot the Costume Contest. o_O
So..not much, but it was fun. xDD I'm gonna go again this year..but not with so many people. Probably just me and Anbu Rina, who was Tsukasa. xD

at metrocon '05 (which was my first metrocon and 2nd convention) I was walking around with my pirate panda bear who matched me and i hade my "Will give pockt for yaoi" sign up and a metrocon staff man said to me "grrrrrr no signs!" and i was like "eep" and put my sign down and 30 paces later i put it back up and got 2 guys to yaoi for me and my friends YAY they were really nice ^_^ although i didn't meet any gaians crying and i fought my friend who was a ninja right outside of the ball room. she impaled me in the stomach with a toy light saber XD oooo and this girl pulled me aside to interview me about yaoi O.o it was fun cause i kept rambling about nonsense ^_^ hopefully from the next convention i'll have a better story from things that happened XP

We got the most awkward snippets of conversation: Namely overhearing someone behind us saying "Well, technically... your uterus IS local!" and when we looked to see who it was, they were gone. crying

Hiya! Those of you who were near me when I wore my Sailor Star Fighter costume and those super tall boots, know I was so nervous I was shaking. gonk I wore the boots for a while, and then eventually had to take them off for fear of literally breaking my neck. whee Happily, I only fell down once, while I was walking outside and was terrified someone was going to insult me for being so under-dressed. (Which thankfully, never happened to my face. sweatdrop ) ANyway, when I took the spill, who, of all characters came forward with concern, asking if I was okay? Itachi. I thought that was fantastic. lol BTW~ Thank you to everyone who encouraged me and reassured me my costume was worth all the hours I put into it. I love you guys! 4laugh heart

Well, I didn't go to last year's Metrocon, but I was at the one the year before, and I learned a valuable lesson that day-NEVER glue horns to your head with nail glue. LOL. I was dressed as Shura from Yu Yu Hakusho, and traveling around with my friends who were dressed as Kurama and Botan. I had my picture taken alot and people were amazed that my horn stayed on my head. It was loads of fun until it was time to get out of my Shura costume and switch my outfit to Tsuzuki from Yami no Matsuei. That damn horn would not come off my forehead...It was a very lovely lesson...

Well, I went to '05, and it was my first con. SO much fun. Anywho, we got to meet Vic Mignogna and Greg Ayres. But what ended up happening was either we were subconsciously stalking Greg, or he was stalking us. It was so weird. Like... one of my friends and I jumped out of the line for the costume contest to get some film of us talking to him, then we went back in and like, twenty seconds later he walked by and was like "Hey, guys!" And that kind of thing had been going on alllllll weekend. He's real fun though, so if you get a chance to talk to him, do it. He's freakin' hilarious.
