The Batcave has appeared in the new universe... This place should really only be used by members of the Bat Family, i.e., Batman, Robin, Batgirl, etc. Anyone else here should only be here by invitation of a member of the Bat Family.

Bruce Wayne stepped off the stairwell and into the cave. He walked up to the computer and pressed a button, signaling Batgirl to contact him as soon as possible.

Her voice was soaked in annoyance, that much was easy to hear. He needed answers. As good as she was, she still couldn't afford to make mistakes. Not while he had something to say about it. Joker made that clear with Jason. "Where are you? And what were you doing that me calling you left you this frustrated?" He wanted to know, and damn it, she needed to tell him.

Batman started up the computer in the Batcave as he was talking. Once the screen lit up, he knew something was wrong. The city, no, the world was just wrong. "Batgirl, I need you to come to the Batcave immediately. We need to discuss what's going on with the world, it's... different. Batman out." Then he cut off the line. What was going on here?

Batman had gotten tired of this waiting game. He pulled up a sattelite image from the JLA sattelite in space, and found Cassandra. The Joker had gotten to her and had managed to use her temper against her, and he didn't have time to get there himself to stop her, or her friend for that matter, from making the same mistake Jason had. But, there WAS something he COULD do.
He activated the Batcycle's remote system, allowing him to steer it from the Cave until it was right in front of them. He then used the speaker on it as an intercom, saying "Batgirl, get on. NOW. Bring your friend. You know better than taking HIM on in the state you're in. You know a LOT better." He then cut it off. He sounded mad, because he WAS.

Batgirl got off the bike, hurrying towards the computer where Batman was sitting and stood there waiting for him to say something. How humiliating... she thought with dismay looking at the ground. I really messed up this this time.

 Sapphire watched Batgirl hurry off of the bike and towards a large computer. She gently slid off the bike and looked around in amazment. The city was great and all, but she was a country girl by heart. She'd been to underground caverns once or twice before and absolutely loved it. Seeing this enormous underground hideout...well if she didn't have a full face mask on, she'd probably look like a child who'd just stepped into Disney World. There was a lot down here too. She wanted to explore, but she was just a guest here, best to stick with Batgirl. She glanced back towards the computer and made her way towards it.

Before Batgirl could reach the computer, the chair in front of it spun in a 180 degree turn, and showed Batman, in full costume. Despite the cowl, his rage was plainly visible.
"Batgirl, you know better than to let your guard down. And not only once, but from the information picked up from the Batcycle, you did it multiple times. Against the Joker, of all people. You know that he's a homicidal lunatic who'd have no problem killing you for his own amusement, then wave it in front of every hero in the area..." His thoughts for a second trailed back to Jason, as they always did when that maniacal clown got involved. He mentally shook it off, and continued. "You've seen much of what the underbelly of Gotham can bring up. You've seen the worst of it. Penguin, Two-Face, Poison Ivy, Bane, Black Mask... They're the worst of the worst. But they still fear the Joker like frightened children. He's not like the rest of them. They want power. He wants nothing more than to see me fall. And he won't be afraid to make sure you fall in the process. Look at what he did to Commissioner Gordon, to Barbara, to... to Jason." He stood up and walked up to her, locking his gaze in hers. "Don't let it happen again."
He walked up to the woman in the blue costume. "And who are you? You look like Spider-Man."

Batgirl stared at the ground in embarassment. She shamed everyone in the whole batfamily by her choices that night. She was so thankful that he didn't know what had happened with Deadpool. She wasn't ontop of her game at all that night. Though she did almost laugh when Batman walked over and talked to Sapphire. The heroine could tell Sapphire didn't like being compared to whomever this Spiderman was.

Sapphire stopped a few feet away from the two. She listened, but didn't really want to evesdrop. She looked up at the man when he stopped in front of her. She gave a small mental sigh. If she wore blue and red then she could understand...but really. Though this didn't bother her that much. He wasn't comparing her to him or anything. Whoah, wait....if he was from this other universe, how did he know Spider-Man?
"I'm Sapphire Spider. she replied. "I'm from New York."

Superman whisked though One of the Bat Cave's side entrances (several miles from Wane manor) and appeared with Reaper standing next to Batman and Batgirl and someone in a blue costume he didn't recognise.
"Sorry to barge in Batman, but this man needs a blood transfusion, the most secure cell you have, and I need answers from him." Superman said briskly. Hoisting Reaper up to indicate who he was talking about.

"I know. It's the same place as Spider-Man." He walked back to the giant computer. "I worked with him once before, when one of his villains, Carnage, took the Joker and formed an alliance with him, taking advantage of a rift between our two universes. It was short-lived, but they were extremely deadly while it lasted." He pulled up the information he had on Spider-Man and Carnage on the screen. He also brought up all the information he had on the Joker for Sapphire Spider to read. ALL of it. "That was one LONG fight. Anyways, if you're half the hero that Spider-Man is, I know I can trust you. So as long as Batgirl is willing to stay with you, you're welcome here. Oh, just so you know what I meant about the Joker, look at this." The information covered everything; from his beginnings as a grand thief with a murderous streak, to his time as a more or less harmless prankster, to his current evolution as a psychotic genocidal maniac who took pleasure in killing others, along with his biggest victims, Barbara Gordon and Jason Todd.

Sapphire followed Batman up to the computer and paused in front of it. She glanced at him and smiled a bit, feeling quite pleased that he trusted her. She tried to take in all of the information that was brought up. This Joker guy really was a piece of work. She glanced back at Batman a moment and knodded.
She heard someone else speak and turned to face them. She grimmaced upon seeing the same Reaper that had emerged from the shadow in the street. "Well, if it isn't Mr. Creepy." she said turning towards him. Reaper ENTER with Superman
Reaper glanced around the room as they entered. He smiled a bit, he approved of the underground look. Very homey. He frowned a bit as Superman hoisted him off the ground again, but he didn't protest. Free blood, secure place...he shouldn't have much to worry about here. Give him time to let the others gain new powers while he sat her and thought about what to do next. At least some part of him would be safe for the moment. He glanced back at the others, and smiled when he noticed Sapphire. Finally, someone that he knew how to deal with. She recognised him though...must have become aquainted with one of his other copies. The other girl looked familiar....his copies must have become aquainted with her as well.

Batman turned around only to glance at what Superman was holding, a red skeleton in a robe. He turned back to his computer and and pulled back up all the settelite imagery he could, and it turned out that that thing Supes was carrying was extremely dangerous. There were multiple copies of it running around, creating all kinds of havoc.
"Superman, you need to look at this. That thing, along with MANY others just like it, are destroying the entire East Coast. And I don't think a blood transfusion is what it needs. Judging from this..." He pulled up a video backlog from the JLA sattelite, showing one of the creatures, maybe even THIS one, impaling a litte girl with a scythe, all her blood getting absorbed into the weapon as it happened. "I think it wants to feed on the blood." Then, a disturbing thought came to the Dark Knight's mind. "And you brought one to the Cave?!"

If it wouldn't have been obvious that this was something that the Reaper didn't want Superman to have seen...Reaper would have let out a long groan. Well, this was typical. Guess he shouldn't have been surprised, but he really wasn't expecting something like this to happen. Well, now that he did know, he could leave a small mental warning about it to what clones he could. The original would have to use much more diligence to stay off the radar. Well, nothing to do now but see how the man reacted to this, though it probably wouldn't be good.Sapphire turned back to the screen watched a moment. Her eyes fell on the little girl that the Reaper had killed and could feel her blood turn cold.
It couldn't have been the same little girl that she was with earlier, she'd left her with Spider-Man. She wasn't wearing the necklace, and there was another one there. Still, it was same girl. A child...and that thing just... Before she arrived in this world, that was one of biggest things she was trying to prevent. All of the thoughts and fears that she had during that time came flooding back. Her blood began to flow again, this time fuled with adrenalin and anger. With her fists clenched, she whirled towards the thing and glared at him from under her mask. There was abolutly no reason for him to do such a thing. Not to a child.
