The main Pier of Mandarin. Pier holds roughly 20 boats. The beach and waters are homes to mainly Pokemon. The beach is populated with a swarm of people.
The beach is also where trainers come from other islands on the water Pokemon aside from boats.

Tai, Tori and Riolu on top of lapras made there way to North Mandarin island. Tai sat right behind Lapras' neck with Riolu sitting oh on his head. Tori sat behind him, but on the side of Lapras watching some Golden swim around. It was wonderful weather to be out oh the water, only a couple of clouds could be seen and there was a nice calm breeze.
Tai raised his hands in the air stretching. Him and Tori just finished an all nighter and had been out on the water all morning. Tai looked around the water pokemon neck to see that they weren't to far from the island. maybe only about another 15 minutes or so.
"Tori." Tai turned to look at his sister. "I can see the island. When we get there we have to head straight to the Museum. I'm not too sure if they'll let you into the meeting with me. My ranger leader is supposed to be there as well, I'll talk to him and see if it's fine."
Tori looked up at her brother. "It's fine if i'm not allowed in. I'll just come back to the beach and play with my pokemon, give them some fresh air. Or on another hand I might head off to the Pokemon center. Fearow could use a really good rest, so could I to tell ya the truth." She also gave a small stretch.
"Hey if I can't go to sleep nor can you! At least you might not have to sit in a boring meeting." Tai turned his head back to look at the approaching island.

Sophie sat next to Twila watching the island coming closer. She really didn't enjoy the water that much. She didn't mind being in a boat, but she really didn't learn how to swim when she was younger and didn't have very good experiences on her travels.
She looked down in the water and watched a couple of water pokemon swim by. She might not like the water much but she does still like water pokemon. She gave a small sigh, everything was seeming to be happening a little quick and she had another feeling that things where going to keep getting worse, but she'd have to hit it full on.

Twila looked ahead as North Mandarin Island came into view over the horizon. The wind from the fast-moving boat was strong and tousled her short hair and caused it to tangle slightly. But she didn't pay it any mind. Instead she just looked to Sophie and smiled.
"We're almost there," she shouted over the wind and pointed to the island that was now almost completely visible over the horizon. "Just a few more minutes 'til we dock."

Sophie gave a small smile to her friend as the boat made it's way towards the island. She knew there was a little bit more time before docking and she decided to take one last look around at the pokemon.
"Uh?" Sophie looked behind to beat and saw what looked like a lapras. "Hey, Twila. Look over there, it's a lapras." She pointed towards the blue water pokemon that was ferrying two unknown people.
Out of all the water pokemon Lapras was her favourite.
((OOC: Don't worry about.))

Twila turned her attention to Lapras Sophie had pointed out. It was a beautiful Lapras; Lapras were beautiful Pokemon in general, Twila had always thought. They were very hard to obtain though, so few people had them. It wasn't uncommon for people living or visiting the Orange Archipelago to get around by surfing on Pokemon, but it wasn't always as common for them to be riding a Lapras.
These thoughts caused Twila to become curious about the people riding the Lapras. She took a closer look and right away the boy caught her eye. His clothes were unmistakably those of a ranger. She knew quite a bit about rangers. She'd done a lot of research on them since their line of work always intrigued her. But probably most of all, their stylers were curious little things with the amazing ability to befriend Pokemon without actually catching them. Twila silently wondered whether or not the Lapras was his...
Turning her attention back to Sophie she shared some of her thoughts. "That boy riding the Lapras is a Pokemon Ranger. I can tell by his clothes. But we usually don't get many rangers in these parts. They are mostly located in the Fiore and Almia regions. How odd it seems."

Tai brought both of his hands into the air stretching them out. He put hi right hand back onto the Lapras' neck and the other one was rubbing tears from his eyes. The fact that he had gotten no sleep the previous night was now hitting him hard.
"Hey Tori, were almost there." Tai waited for his sisters response. "Tori?" Tai turned around to see his sister sitting on the side of the Lapras, Riolu on her lap asleep. Her head was down and her eyes were shut, she had fallen asleep.
Tai looked at his sister a little ticked and shock her should. "Tori. Wake up."
"huh, what?" Tori's head sprang up as she looked to her brother. "What's up?"
"Were almost at the island." Tai turned back around and held onto the Lapras' neck.

"A ranger you say." Sophie looked more closely at the Lapras. "That outfit does look like a rangers outfit now that I look at it." She'd only seen news reports of Pokemon Rangers on T.V.
She then thought about what Twila said, about them mostly being in Fiore and Almia. "Hey, you don't think he was sent to investigate the museum?" Sophie looked over at Twila.

Twila shrugged. "Maybe. I mean, it's possible I guess. But what would rangers have to do with this situation? Then again, it's not like we know too much about what's going on anyway so they could very well be needed in a situation like this. And I guess it is a ranger's job to take on missions and help people. No time to really worry about it now though. We've got our own job to do."
The boat started to slow down as it pulled up to the pier. BIll safely parked the boat in an empty dock and roped it down. Twila thanked him for ferrying them to the island as she made her way off the boat onto the dock.
"No problem, Miss Maris. I think I'll stay at the pier for a while. Been some time since I've been to a big port like this. I'll stock up on a few things and head out tomorrow morning. If you need anything before then, stop by and let me know," he said.
"Thanks, Bill. We will," Twila said as she waved goodbye and started up the dock towards the city. She turned to Sophie and said, "Ok, so first it's off to my friend, Luke's house. We have to walk, but it won't take too long. He lives kind of close to the pier here."

Sophie gave a small smile and Nod to Bill before climbing off the boat and followed after Twila. "So this friend is the one that's been sending you e-mails about the museum?" She asked as she walked beside her friend.
It had been a while since she'd been on this island. She looked around and in the distance to the east she could see the museum's roof. Also as she looked around she could see a lot of people in red heading in the direction of museum. They were all Rangers. She walked one as they ran by her heading towards the pier. "There sure are a lot of Rangers around here right now."

Lapras wasn't far from the beach when both Tai and Tori heard someone shouting on the shoreline. They both looked up to see Keith, an old friend of Tai's from the Ranger school. "HEY! Keith!!" Tai started to wave as Lapras made it to the shore.
Tai and Tori both climbed off and Tori returned Lapras to her pokeball. "So you finally made it." Keith looked over to Tai then to Tori. "Wow, when you said you had a twin I really didn't think you guys were that much a like." Keith walked over to Tori and extended his hand. "My name's Keith."
Tori too the boys hand. "Hi there my names Tori."
"So Keith how long till the meeting?" Tai walked over to Keith while kneeling down to pet his partner Pokemon, Buizel, on the head.
"We have just enough time to walk over there." Keith said as he looked towards Tai.
Tai got up and looked at the two. "Then we better get going!"
The other two gave a nod as they headed off to the museum.

Twila nodded. "Yeah, he's the one who's been sending me emails. I don't know if he has any new information but it's worth checking. Besides I hardly ever visit so I should at the very least stop by and let him know I'm in town."
Twila looked around and noticed there were in fact a lot of rangers around - way more than normal. It must have had something to do with the museum incident. There was no doubt about it now.
"Maybe Luke can at least tell us what's up with all these rangers in town? He should at least know something about that."

Sophie turned her attention away from the ranger that ran by to rendezvous with the others and walked along side Twila. "Would be alright if we don't tell him about me?" Sophie kept looking forward. "I don't mind if he knows but only if it's absolutely necessary."
Sophie was telling the truth. She didn't mind people knowing, but only those who'd might be able to help down the road. She really didn't want to be on a research table being examined.

Tai, Tori and Keith each made there way towards the museum. The two Ranger boys catching and telling eachother about there adventures that they'd done since each become a ranger.
((Oh man, sorry it took me so long to make this XP. I was thinking that maybe we should make another forum. Say East side of town and Museum.))

((Yeah we can make a new thread. It would make sense. I'll lead us away from the pier in this post and we can start a new thread in the next one I guess?))
Twila nodded. "Of course we can keep it a secret. The less people know about what's really going on the better, I think. I mean, they need to find out eventually of course, but for right now it's best to keep this kind of thing under wraps. Don't want to start a mass-panic or anything like that."
They had reached the end of the pier and now approached the bustling city on the island. The streets were crowded with people of all shapes and sizes. The city was a popular tourist spot, so it was common to see so many different kinds of people.
