General Rules:Everything has to be in line with rules of Talaye Meawods and the Gaia TOS
No cursing, flaming or derogatory comments. We'd like to keep the thread a clean, positive place if possible. This includes whinning comments at the end if you dont win or discouraging other people from entering.
No stealing. No borrowing ideas. Cosplays are exempt for this but if we find you took another entrants concept you will be delt with accordingly.
You may only enter ONE concept in each category. (edited and unedited)
In relation to the above, you may only win ONE custom from this contest
We reserve the right to not award any prizes, if there are no suitable entries.
There is no restriction based on how many Talaye you have. Anyone whinning about it being 'unfair' will be disqualified immediately.
NO EDITING OF POSTS. I will be looking over entries as they come in and making notes. Do not post your entry until you are absolutely sure it is complete and what you want.
For your concept to quality for -any- of the base species it must meet all the guidelines set down here as to what makes that sub-race.
NO HYBRIDS. Your concept must fit into one of the sub-species or be a custom elemental. No exceptions.
Concepts must be adult only. No growing talaye
More rules may be added at any time.... Un-edited Design Rules:Concepts may be on any of the base species available (regular, earth, fire, wind, water, light, dark, or butterfly)
Concepts must be -completely- unedited.
NO cosplays may be entered into this catagory if they involve clothes/jewerly/accessories of any sort. I will not paint those things onto talaye as patterning. Edited Design Rules:Concepts may include any edits to the base species that you wish
Concepts for custom Elementals will be included in this category.
FOR COSPLAYS. Beware that i -love- original designs. So unless the cosplay concept is just amazing i will be unlikely to choose it. So think carefully
I am counting any concept that is based off any idea that is not yours as a cosplay (Ex. characters/creatures from games/anime/comics/books, gaia items, etc)
Remember that anything in this category must follow the rules of the shop laid down for edits. Clothing -must- be edited to fit onto a canine form and you may not ask for edits that eat up/cover the original pet.

description: somewhat shy, but once he gets to know you he is super sweet and loving. he's also mute, so he has learned to communicate with gestures, facial expressions and body language.
eye color: teal
hair color: silver fading into teal tips
coat color & patterns: base coat color is purple, with a silver belly extending up to cover his muzzle. he also has silver inner ears, and silver upper eyelids extending to his eyebrows. he has thick teal bands bordered by dark teal about 1/4 to 1/3 of the way up on his front legs (about where a 3/4 sleeve shirt would end), and another thick teal band bordered by dark teal about halfway down his tail. his tail tip is splotchy silver, as if dipped in paint. his ear tips are teal, and he also has a hollow silver heart on his left shoulder.
toe color: purple
wing color: either purple or silver, whichever looks best in contrast

Colorist: Whoever thinks they can take him. I do imagine he'd be a bit of a challenge.
Name of Talaye: Gharath
Owner: Zactura
Gender: Male
Element: Dark
Description: Slim, lithe, and elegant, Gharath looks like some sort of gold-tipped nightmare at first glance, what with his horns and wings, and his intimidating glowing eyes. Gharath has a black base with golden spirals around his eyes and ankles, which only accentuate his overall slimness. His eyes glow a vivid gold, and are usually halfway closed. There are a few slender stripes down his sides that never touch his belly. He has two pairs of horns, one straight and ridged and one curling around the side of his face like ram's horns. These have small gold ornaments on them, and some have small black stones set into them. His tail is long and reptilian almost, with a barb at the tip. He has one main pair of wings, with these being large and leathery. His second pair is a lot smaller and located directly behind the first ones, and both sets have a pair of wing-talons at the tip. (Think Gargoyles for that. >w>; ) His mane is long and luxurious, night black with golden tips. It's slightly wavy and enough to make Fabio envious. He has a small golden stone in the middle of his forehead, and it glows softly. Gharath never smiles, and it's very rare to see him have any sort of emotion at all. There is a low cloud of shadow surrounding his feet at all times, and it coils up like smoke around him in a few places. He wears a small gold band around his tail with a black stone dangling from it, as well as one small golden hoop and two gold studs with the same black stones in each ear.
Eye Color: Glowing gold.
Hair Color: Black with gold tips.
Coat Color & Patterns: Black, with a mask of golden spirals around his eyes, as well as rings of spirals around his ankles/wrists. He has four thin golden stripes down his sides, and they stop about midway down.
Toe Color: His left foot has the outer two toes colored golden, and the middle is black. His right foot has the outer black with the middle gold.
Wing Color (if winged): Black for the spines, and black wing membranes with gold edges.

Description: Based off of rose quartz, she’ll be a soft pink with a slightly paler pink and white swirl mottling

Hair Color: Shades of light pink and white
Coat Color & Patterns: Almost a tone on tone (pink with lighter pink) with whisps of pale white/pink. I’m thinking soft like the tumbled, shiny stones rather than the harsher lines of uncut quartz

Description: A magician. Willing to flirt with any gender, or anything alive, and has the tendency to normally be under the influence of brandy. Has a weird love for cherry flavoring, and the overuse of the word "dearie". While there is no proof, we believe him to have a mini drug cartel under that hat of his. That being said, approach with caution.
He is fairly brightly colored, save for some black areas. While he seems cheery most of the time, he is normally fairly depressed. He normally leaves those he flirts/catches for a night, thinking it wouldn't last anyways. Basically his color hides the fact that he is always feeling gray. Rarely seen without his tophat, and normally wears a vest/shirt with some sort of black pants. (Though since it is said that clothes should not color everything, I would not mind no pants.. as in the Whimsi ref further down)

Coat Color & Patterns: White base, no patterns on the fur itself.

description: a true embodiment of the sun of the earth. impressive, dominating, harsh at times and warm at others. most fear and respect him equally. takes the view that he is the center of the universe, though is willing to share his impressive gifts with others.
eye color: bold yellow (like spots on the sun in the reference images below)
hair color: reds, oranges and yellows
coat color & patterns: orange base, with many reddish-orange and golden yellow streaks and spots to resemble the surface of the sun. the edges of the fur, especially along the ears and tail, should be slightly spikey/curvy to resemble the tiny solar flares that peak on the surface of the sun.
toe color: same as coat
wing/orb color: wings are deep reds and yellows, edited to resemble solar flares. the orbs, from left to right, resemble the 9 planets and the earth's moon that revolve around the sun (so in order - mercury, venus, earth, the moon, mars, jupiter, saturn (with tiny rings if possible), uranus, neptune, pluto

Name of Talaye: Nir'mor Owner: Malhyanth Gender: Male Element Bones Description:A strong, dangerous beast, Nir'mor is a talaye elemental that holds reign over the bones of the dead. Strewn over his body are the bones of past creatures, the main one being a skull with the attached spinal column and a few ribs that holds presidence over his head and spine, following his back and chest like protective armour. His thick black mane, longer and bushier then usual Talaye manes, is full of small pieces of bone and the skulls of small animals, like rats and hawks. Through this mane, it is apparant he has a pair of horns, like a Kudu, that spiral up from his head. He wears a number of rings and cuffs in his ears, and bangles on his ankles. He also has a necklace that has a vultures skull threaded onto it through the eyes, with long, black, white and red feathers also on the rope of the ornament. Around the base of his tail, there is a cuff with two more of these black, white and red feathers. He has strange wings that are a mix of draconic and feathered types, with the base being that of a feathered wing, and the rest the leathered wing of a bat. Along his body are strange runes that glow eerily blood red. Eye Color: Black. No definition between pupil and iris, just pure black. Hair Color: Thick black, with bones strew through it. Can come down the spine a little further, like to the base of the tail, but is not necessary. Coat Color & Patterns: Pure white, like bleached bone. On it, are blood red runes down the legs. His tail tip and feathers are also red. The leathered part of his wings hold a fiery pattern, made from black and red. Toe Color: Blood red. I would love if the colorist could capture that shiny-plastic feeling. Persona of the tala would be: Logic, powerful and userfriendly? wink I choosed the Light type tala beacuse of the description: "they are known to bring light to many things", wich this little mac-girl would do ^_^;; Eye Color: Green Hair Color: White or green, colorist choise. Coat Color & Patterns: White with the Apple logo in green on the back (think "my little pony placement" if the logo dosent fit there, it can be placed on the talas forhead instead). Description: Chane has a few scars across his chest and a set of parallel scars on his haunches. His front right leg is robotic, (As seen in the Cein Isles and Waywards versions).
Eye Color: Left eye lavender, right eye pale grey with a scar trough it.
Hair Color: Dark grey fading to pale grey/white with sudden transitions.
Coat Color & Patterns: A dapple grey leaning to blue.
Toe Color: A dark blue grey.
Wing Color: Dapple grey fading to white.
Head-feather & Tail-feather Color: White head feathers, tail feathers similar in colour to his hair.

He should have white stockings on his legs, and white markings over his eyes. Element] Ice (I didn’t see one among the elements but there is a set of twins that is categorized as Fire & Ice) or Frost/Snow
Description: Jiang is the type of frost or snow that comforts, the soft flurry rather than the harsh blizzard, the refreshing bite rather than the bone-chilling freeze. As such his pelt is light light blue with white snowflakes as if they had fallen on his fur and have not melted or been brushed off. His hair glows slightly with the wintery light of freshly fallen snow under moonlight. His wings are two halves of a single snowflake, broken in half, rather than feathers. Each point of his wings sparkles gently and his head is ringed with a band of lights resembling a loosely held together oversized halo of pinpoints of light. His tail is large and fluffy, resembling a Light Talaye’s but woven through with ribbons in a slightly darker blue than his pelt that trails off behind him.
