Summary: Set several years after their first promotion and mission, the spies have set the worlds of Midgar and Ivalice at peace. For this, they have been promoted to Beta level Master Spies. However, a new world is opening, and Reno is captured by two of its more devilish residents. It's once again up to the spies to stop these two evil men, but what do they do about all the other strange locals of this town called Konohagakure in the land of Fire?

PROLOGUE: SERPENTINE PREEMPTIVE!

A pair of strange men wandered through the streets: One looked deathly sick, but carried himself with an air of utter superiority, the other smug with white hair and glasses.

“So, my lord, when do we begin or rampage in this new land?” The bespectacled boy said, smiling and pushing his glasses up.

“SSOON, Kabuto, my young apprentice. The second you see someone you need for your collection, our fun shall commence,” The pale man said, letting his long tongue hang loose from his mouth like a dog.

“Very well, Lord Orochimaru, as you wish. I shall observe carefully and- oh, I just found one. Over there, with that strange object in hand!” Kabuto replied, pointing discreetly to a young man several feet away with blazing fire-like hair, and an ice cream cone in hand.

“Man, it’s been ages since I’ve been able to have one of these,” the youth said, thought as the two strangers approached him, his voice changed and he continued, “Though I guess my personal fun time is to be cut short. So, how may I help you… rather odd looking gents?” His eyes, marked underneath with red lines, sparked with curiosity at the sight of the two men before him, dressed in strange outfits, as if from some pseudo-middle-ages-Japan locale.

“YEss…” Orochimaru said, grinning, “My servant, Kabuto, requires a male body between in the age range of 15-6 years for his experimentation collection. Would you like to become part of a revolution by donating your young self to our cause? We’d also like to know what your name is, for future reference.” The fire-headed man chuckled and shook his head.

“Sorry, boys, but I’m not into that kind of thing. And the name’s Reno. Reno of the Turks, San Fran Division,” Reno said, drawing a miniscule tube from nowhere.

The two men laughed at the size of Reno’s weapon, saying, “YOU HONESTLY THINK YOU CAN HUR US WIH THAT?! YOU OVERESTIMATE YOURSELF!” Orochimaru placed his hands together and made several symbols, finally finishing by saying, “Snake Style Ninjutsu: THOUSAND FANGS JUTSU!” Holding his hands out, Orochimaru’s fingers became thousands of snakes that shot at Reno. Reno dodged perfectly, but landed right in Kabuto’s grasp.

“Nice try, sir, but you are needed for my… Oh, wait, My Lord, this one isn’t between 15 and 16 years, he’s closer to his late twenties. He’s of no use to me,” Kabuto said, smirking, “May I have permission to eliminate him?”

Orochimaru nodded menacingly, and Kabuto performed a similar set of hand motions that his master had, only he said, “Medical Style Ninjutsu: CHAKRA SCALPEL!” However, before he could execute his attack, Reno had jumped out of the way. Pressing a hidden button inside the tube, it immediately extended into a six-foot-long rod.

He slid the rod’s surface over his shoulder and said, “Apparently you two have never heard of the Turks before. Allow me to educate you properly.” Pressing another button, Reno charged forward and slammed the rod into Kabuto’s shoulder, releasing a powerful blast of stored electrical charge. The energy pulsed through Kabuto’s body; the electricity effectively shut down most of his muscles, save for his heart, lungs, and brain.

“WH-WHAT DID YOU DO TO ME?!” Kabuto shouted, as Reno lifted his rod to the skies. With one more button press, he released a massive burst of electric charge into the sky, lighting it up like fireworks.

“This is my personalized signature weapon, the Rail Rod. I charged my rod with massive quantities of electrical energy, and then with a simple buton press, I can release it in spurts to incapacitate my enemy, or all in one to eviscerate them. So, as you can see, what ever magic tricks you’re using will wind up completely useless against me-URGH! WHAT?!” Reno shouted, as he found himself suspended several feet in the air by a mass of snakes.

“Wall, It’s good to know that my ‘Magic Tricks’ won’t affect you, as long as that stick of yours is still in your hand. However, how would you fare if I… took it?” Orochimaru said, pulling back a snake that had taken Reno’s rod from his hand. He smiled, throwing it several feet away from the battle zone. Then, Reno could only sit, captured, as Orochimaru let loose with a combination of all the strangest attacks he’d ever seen…
