How come THIS is the only holiday that permits physical violence if you don't adhere to its rituals? There cant be a stoning penalty for people who don't wear sweaters on Christmas? Or a beating if you don't wear a costume on Halloween?

I find it kind of funny, how people NEVER remember to wear green, then scramble to make a hat or a tap a leaf to themselves so they don't get pinched. Am I the only one amused by this?
It might be a ridiculous 'holiday', but I find it a great excuse to dress like a leprechaun and run around, just for the heck of it. <33

Or draw on themselves with green, I still pinch them anyways since that's cheating in a sense.

Personally I think Mardi Gras is a bigger drinking holiday.
Along with New Years and Fourth of July.
