I'm shocked no one has posted a Final Fantasy thread yet (unless they did and just didn't put the game title in the subject). So, who else is an FF fan? Since there were only 10 voting option for the poll I had to condense the pre-Playstation games. A lot of people never played them, anyway (I didn't until I started playing Emulation Roms on my computer a few years back). Discussion ??s: Which is your favorite game? Why? Who is your ultimate favorite character? Why? Etc. My favorite game is VIII, because not only do I love all of the characters (except Rinoa, but I tend to dislike main female characters for some reason) but I love a lot of the story ideas within the game: the idea of a mercenary school like the Garden, and an entire city hidden from the world (Esthar). My favorite character is, without a doubt, Khimari. I have no idea why, to be honest, I just love him. It's either him or Zell...or Cloud (or Cid in VII). 8 )

too much information/questions/stuf and not enough time for me to answer xp
I love FF
-My favorite game would be FFVII because it's the first one I played
- I don't have a favorite character cause there's too many to choose from and they're usually always male characters, but I guess the closest I would choose would be Cloud (he's got pretty eyes heart heart ) with Balthier (FFXII) coming in second cause he's so cool and suave rofl .
I've played FFVII, FFX, and FFXII (currently only own FFXII) but I've played FFIV, FFV, and FFVI (released as III or was it the otherway around) on the emulator, both SNES and GBA versions (but I've only beaten FFIV on both GBA and SNES)
and now I just wasted 9 minutes writting this (thinking and writting) thanks alot scream

I love games with good storylines/plots whatever and that they take forever to beat (I think I wasted 130+ hours on just FFXII)

I'm currently in the middle of FFXII. I adore Balthier and Fran.
I think the good plots and lengthy time is why I love the Final Fantasy series. Especially with the side quests that are like games all on their own. I have an entire memory card filled with Final Fantasy alone, lol.

I haven't played FFXII lately (PS2 died) so I've been focusing on the old FF games with the emulator. I just finihsed FFIV (GBA) and I'm trying to get it for the DS but haven't had any luck with it. cry

Final Fantasy is a pretty awesome series. I enjoy the old school ones, like II, V, VI, and VIII. My all time favorite Final Fantasy is VI. You can't go wrong with it.

still no luck with the emulator/roms but on the bright side my cousin left his PS2 at my house so now I can play FFXII. Unfortunatley it's been here for 2 days and I keep forgetting we have it. sweatdrop

i love FFVII :3
my favoirite charector was Cate Sith (spelt wrong >.<)
i always seem to like the most hated charectors
right now im playing FFCC:Echo's of time for DS
it is awesome, expecilly on multiplayer
Lilltys are my favoirite in that :3

I been looking for someone to play wi fi with.
I don't have anything against FF7, it's a great game, but I think it's a bit over-hyped. I mean, typical FF noob goes, "OMGOMGOMGOMG FINALFANTASYSEVENISTHEGREATESTGAMEEVAR!!!!!!!1111111111111111111111111111111111 ILOVECLOUDHE'SSODEEPBLABLABLABLABLABLA!!!!!"
To be honest, Cloud is a whiny b***h.
Zack and Angeal were much more worthy to wield the Buster Sword. Seriously.
But....

But cloud will alway be number 1 with me *sigh*
I've read a few of the posts here and usually they say that FFVII is their favorite/best. Is it cause it's the only one they've played? Maybe they should try other games like the first FF games (1-6) whether SNES, NES, DS, GBA, or even PSx that's what I did.
