Kyrah Model: Phoenix
Class: Light Armor and Scout
Seats 1
Height: 30 ft.
Wing Span: 100 ft.
Weight: 20 tons
Lifting wieght: 40 tons
Armament: 2 small Missle racks (5 missles each); 2 large Missle racks (20 missles each); Light cannon (Located in mouth)
Max. Speed (Main reactor): 100 mph Max. Speed (Secondary reactor): 134 mph
Optimum speed (Main Reactor): 80 mph Optimum speed (Secondary Reactor): 105 mph
Jump Jet ceiling: (See Other Data)
Other Data: Powerful anti- gravity drives keep the hold the Phoenix aloft in the air. Massive ammounts of heat is generated, this heat is shunted towards the wings and dissapated into the feathers. At night, the wings give off a faint red glow, one of the reasons it is called the Phoenix. The Phoenix is capable of flying at a height of 3 miles, and powerful cameras search the ground. Sometimes used to carry other mecha into battle. The cockpit is located in the back and when ejected, unfurls wings to allow the pilot to return safely.
Mods: Additional Reactor engine to allow shift and increased performance-- wired in (no switch, just loose wire ends). Stats for speed modified.

Raven Model: Phoenix
Class: Scout
Seats 1
Height: 30 ft.
Wing Span: 100 ft.
Weight: 20 tons
Lifting wieght: 40 tons
Armament: Anti-air vulcan cannons. (two, either side of head) Light cannon (Located in mouth)
Max. Speed (Planet): 110 mph --- Anti-grav not wired Max. Speed (Space):
Optimum speed (Planet): 90 mph --- Anti-grav not wired Optimum speed (Space):
Jump Jet ceiling: (See Other Data)
Other Data: This Phoenix Mecha was very quickly made. There are some problems with the wiring as well as the air frame. The problems in the wiring make the reactor run at a higher output, for better or for worse. This means that it can go a little faster than the other Phoenix Mecha but, it might overheat faster. This Phoenix Mecha, due to the bad air frame, isn't to be trusted under high G maneuvers.
Mods: Reactor engine removed after wiring inspected. -- --New Reactor as well as Space Drive added. Original Anti-grav Drive not wired, but still in place.
~~~
To-Do List Voice com for bay door Luther City Battle prep: --patch feathers on Kyrah --set and load large missle racks --find or create a switch for engine swap -- Atlantis Spec Ops Beam saber
Maybe??: NOW!: Re-weld Raven frame New engine for Raven Space drive for Raven Fit Raven with missle racks Paint and add feathers to Raven
Jeffie enters, looking at his two mechs. "Got lots to do." He is followed by a delivery of missles, a pair of large missle racks, and a nice Beam Saber. "First deal: reacquaint myself with the innerds of this bad boy," he says, wiggling his fingers, and hefts the beam saber off the cart. Not managing to get it very far, for it's weight, Jeffie plunks it down, and pries it apart. Or at least tries. Then he remembers he's gonna need some basics. "Alright, something for the mind, then... cause I don't wanna make another trip out... I'll get it when I go out tomorrow for food..." He waits for the delivery guys to put all the stuff inside, then waves them off, and closes the hangar door. "Let's see... How's this fine lady feeling?" Jeffie climbs in the new Phoenix, and fires her up. "Whew! This feels nice... broken in... but a little off... kinda rickety... I see what they meant at the shop... could use some work..." He shuts her down, and lets her cool down. "Now, to see what's inside... Hmm, I'm hungry... What to eat, what to eat..." Always a good waiting process, eating is.
Jeffie's inspection of the Phoenix's insides shows him just what he needs to do. The reactor engine in the dark-colored Phoenix is still in great shape, and will do quite nicely. Having disconnected the reactor, Jeffie hauls it over to the other mech and pops the hull open. In goes the reactor, and Jeffie fetches some wire. "Poo... need to make a trip out... not enough wire..." He says and heads out to the shop.
"OK, better get set for this battle," Jeffie says as he grabs the giant coil of wire and hauls it up to the Phoenix. He cuts some off, and hops inside the Mech's body. After some scrapes and sliding screeches, Jeffie reemerges. "Boy, that's hard work... needs to be done, though..." He gets some more wire, and hops back inside. After a little over a half hour, Jeffie gets out one more time. Alright, now to make sure this beast works like I wanted it to..." He closes the hatch, goes over to the bay door release, opens her up, and climbs into the cockpit of the Mecha, now with two reactor engines. He fires her up, and sets out toward the training field, stopping once to shut the bay door.
The bay door open, and Jeffie flies Kyrah in and perches her on the roost. He climbs out, and runs down to close the bay door. "I really need to make a voice com system to open and close that... wouldn't want a draft..." He heads down to the door, and tacks up a sheet next to it, labled 'To-Do List'. He writes on the sheet some more, and then looks at it, choosing his next task. "Hmm... Battle prep... which one should I do..." He chooses one, and rushes up to Kyrah. He fires her up, and flies her down to the ground. He labors out, and sets up a rig to hold up one wing. He finds his screwdriver, and removes the inner missle rack. Then he pulls a large rack over and begins attaching it. When he finishes, he move on to the other wing. All done, He goes to the list and scratches it off. Then he sets himself to loading the racks, 50 missles total.
Jeffie collects the Phoenix feathers, and carries as many as he can to Kyrah. He clambers up onto her wings, checking to see how many he'll need to add. "Hmm... Looks like I lost about a dozen... but I think, if I squeeze these in here," He kneels, and starts pushing featers around to fit his fancy, and then moves to the other wing. "Oh, and those I can move like this," He kneels again, and shoves a copule of feathers around, then stands up and admires his work. "Good, now I can fit some more in there." He stands on the edge of the wing, and looks at the pile he toted over, counting them out. "... 16, 17... Hmm... " He turns again to look at the wings, "That should be almost enough." He jumps down off the wing, and grabs some feathers. He reaches up and sets them on the wing, and picks up the remaining feathers and sets them atop the wing as well. He climbs back up and begins setting the feathers into place, and, after he was satisfied with the placing, connecting them where they sat. "Dang... I need three more... he looks over at the wall, where the latest shipment was placed. "Nice!" he shouts. "Three more! It's like fate!"
Jeffie enters and runs over to his darkly painted Phoenix. He peers inside the poorly constructed body and groans.
"Unngh, I forgot... no engine. And I'm gonna need a space drive... anti-grav drives aren't any good without gravity..."
He hurries back to the door, scribbles a bit on his list, and heads out.
Returning with a heavy load, Jeffie carts in his new items, and sets to work. His battle departing soon, he works quickly, and before long, the weak frame of his black Phoenix, empty and soulless until now, supports a space drive and new reactor engine. Satisfied with his installation of Raven's new components, he opens the cockpit, and wonders aloud, "How is this switch gonna work? Kyrah's was simple enough, even if it's only loose wires... Hmm... I suppose I could wire them in series, and tap power to both of them at once... but that would really beat on the reactor's capacities... I don't really have time to figure it all out right now... so I'll just wire in the space drive. But I'll need help to get over to the Astral Hawk... or at least outside the gravitational influence of the planet...."
He moves quickly, to be sure that he doesn't miss the battle departure. He makes some new scratches on his list and picks up the phone. "Hello? Yeah, this is Private Jeffie, and I'm needing some help to get to the Space Port. -- Yeah, my mech for the upcoming space battle is unable to operate on the planet. -- Exactly. I just need a truck or something to get her from my hangar to to Space Port. -- Well, yeah, but we can take care of that when I get to the Space Port, no? -- Yes, but I'm in a hurry. My battle is beginning soon, and I just want to make sure I get over there on time. -- Sure, just send the truck over soon. -- Yeah. -- Thanks." He hangs up the phone, and sets to wiring in his new parts.
"Private Jeffie, you there??" the newcomers bang loudly on the bay doors, "We're here to transport your mech to the spaceport. Will you open up please??" Jeffie rushes to open the door. "Sorry guys!" He shouts as the door opens, "Thanks for coming so quick! Just loading up the missle racks. Hope you guys don't mind waiting a bit while I finish up!" he says with a smile. "No problem, I guess..." one of the two men says as they enter the bay, leaving the large transport vehicle outside. "Oh, umm... could I possibly see some ID quick? I'm a bit overprotective of these little ladies..." "Oh, of course." Each of them holds out a laminated ID card displaying their demographics and a picture. "Thanks, guys."
Jeffie goes to Raven and begins loading a few missles to her newly installed missle racks. As he finishes, he remembers one more thing, "Hold on guys, I need to check out these feathers quick." He hops on the wings and examines the feathers on the wing of the large metal bird. "Thought so." He turns to the transport personnel. "I just have to attach these. It'll only take a minute." He climbs back down and scrounges through his set of screwdrivers. "Here we go." He pulls one out of the box and looks back at the transporters. Waving the screwdriver, he says matter-of-factly, "Didn't get a chance."
Soon after he begins fastening the feathers, Jeffie stands up and admires his work for a moment. "All ready guys," he says, and turns to the workers. "Let's load her up!" He grins, and hurries over to Kyrah. Starting her up, Jeffie sets Kyrah down on top of Raven, and grasps the frame firmly. He lifts again, and he takes the heavy, motionless frame over to the transport vehicle. Setting Raven down there, he flies Kyrah back to her perch in the bay, and climbs out. "I'll take care of it," he says to one of the workers, standing at the bay door switch, "but thanks." The transporter goes to the truck and Jeffie scratches again on his noteboard. Then he activates the bay door and hurries to the truck. As the door closes, Jeffie rides off to the Space Port, anxious for the upcoming battle.
