This is a Mission Thread Only Kiarei Blackfire (Sei) & Kesmi (Diantha) are allowed to post here! Quote: A very aggressive Umbreon has been harassing us, a peaceful group of Chimecho and Chingling! It's up to you to decide how to deal with this crazy Pokemon: being diplomatic and peaceful seems like a good route if you want any chance of making a deal with this Umbreon.. or just show that furry rat who's boss!! Taru edit: sorry I put it in white instead of gray.. it was still there, just not see-able. sweatdrop

Sei paced back and forth, keeping an eye out for his partner. This was his first mission, and he was really excited to do it. Maybe he'd even spot some ghosts! Shaking his head, he tried to focus. Their mission was to deal with a 'bad' Umbreon. How tough could it be? It was two against one, if it came down to a fight.
"Dinatha?" He called as he heard a rustle in the bushes. He chuckled when it was just a Caterpie passing by.

A small egg pokemon tumbled from the grass near Sei and poped up looking all happy go lucky. Though she was rearing to go on this mission. it too was her first one. Popping up suddenly was one of her favorite things to do, even with her eam that was off elsewhere.
"HI!" She called waving her small arms around. "So you rady? Lets go save some pokemon." She nodded, though started walking in the completey wrong direction, typical.

Sei jumped at surprise at the togepi. "Gah!" he cried out. He was always a little jumpy, alert in case something of the abnormal happened. Once he'd caught his breath again, he greeted her. "Hey, I'm ready! But uh... It's this way." He pointed his paw in the other direction, chuckling a little. Diantha didn't seem to have a very good sense of direction. "We might need to fight the umbreon... But do you think we should try to talk to it first?"
(( You wanna play Umbreon, or should I? =3 ))

[[ you can if ou want. ^^ ]]
Diantha looked the way the ninetails was pointing and back in the direction that she was heading. Whoops... Blushing a little she spun around and headed the other direction with a little skip in her step. "I hope we don't have to fight, I hope we can do all this peacefully. Bt..." She sighs a little, "If that comes to it, we will have to show the umbreon thing or two." Diantha nodded some, though wasn't liking the idea of walking through the tall grass, if only she were bigger and could move more freely.

Sei nodded. "Yes. Let's try to be peaceful about this. " He follwoed Diantha through the grass, noticing how short she was. "You can get on my back for now, if you want?" He offered. It would probably be faster anyways, and easier for her to see. He didn't mind someone as small as her on his back, so it shouldn't be a problem.
"Keep an eye out though. I'm sure we'll run into other Pokemon while we go through here."
((I'll do it then~ ^^ ))

Diantha looked up toward the ninetails that towered over her, at one point she thought she might fall over backwards, but she managed to keep her footing and waited for him to pass over her and she clambered up one of his tails and came to rest atop his head. Things would go faster this way and she wouldn't have to worry about being stepped on. "Lets hope this pokemon will see to reason"

Sei chuckled at Diantha but continued forward. He wondered lightly how deep they'd need to go until they found him. "I hope so. It would suck if we had to fight." The high grass didn't prove much trouble for him, and he moved through it easily. A little ways up ahead, he spotted something black lying in the grass. at first he thought it had been the Umbreon, but upon closer inspection he could tell it was just a Murkrow sleeping. "I don't think it'll be too much fur-" He was cut short as he felt himself sink into a a pit.
"What the?" Sei looked around, wonder if Diantha was alright. The hole wasn't that deep, so he figured she wouldn't be hurt too badly.

Little limbs flailing around she managed to catch herself and grasp a bit of the ninetail's hair and peered down at the pit that he had sank into some. Blinking her beady eyes, Diantha heaved herself back away from the edge and shook her head. "Yea, I'm alright, but it looks like something doesn't want us going any closer."
Rolling backwards some she slipped down onto his shoulders as to not be a burden on his head... Even if she didn't really weigh that much to begin with. "Can you get out of the pit?" She asked looking over his side at the ground. "I bet the Umbreon put this here, or had someone dig it here." Pondering sme she could only guess who put the pit three, but it certainly was slowing them down...

Sei felt the togepi slip back onto his shoulders. It was certainly more comfortable. "Alright, that's good." he said. For some reason, Sei was getting the feeling they really should be more careful if someone didn't ant them there. And with their luck, it would probably be the Umbreon. Sei muttered and looked up to the edge, figuring he could jump it.
"Yeah, it probably was!" He growled, hoping there wasn't anymore traps. Taking a deep breath, he calmed himself down. It would be better not to get worked up. "Let's go. I bet we're not too far from him." Sei leaped up at the edge of the pit, pulling them out. He started walking again, watching his every step.
A little ways away, an Umbeon was watching them closely. He sneered, annoyed at the ones who dared to intrude on him. It's not like he'd done anything wrong. Those Chimecho and Chingling were weakinglings who needed a lesson! That stupid ninetail's and togepi were going to interfeer? He'd show them! The Umbreon pounced up into a tree, waiting until the two got closer before he made his move.

Diantha looked around, it she had had ears they would have twitched, something rustled nearby. Something really close, beady little eyes looked around at the shadows and up toward the branches over head. Something was out there, she could feel eyes staring at them. And it was starting to become unpleasant. "We should keep moving, something is here and I don't think its come to help us." She whispered trying to urge the ninetails on.
Still edgy, Diantha kept an eye out as she sat up on her small feet to look around. Her small hands, limbs... Whatever you wanted to name them still clinging to bits of Sei's pelt. Once and a while she would look over her back to make sure that they weren't being followed... Nothing yet, but that didn't mean that whatever it was couldn't have been hiding each time she looked. The eye feeling she was getting still made her uneasy, she wished whatever it was would come out already...

The fur on Sei's back stood up. It was a creepy feeling, and he didn't like it. "Yeah... It's giving me chills. Let's hurry and go on." Sei picked up his pace, keeping his eyes peeled. He though he saw a brief movement in a tree, but when he looked, he couldn't see anything. However, there was no doubt that something was watching them, almost like they were... waiting.
Sei paused for a moment, just a moment. He wanted to scope the area for anything potentially dangerous, just like the pitfall. That was his first mistake.
Not a moment later, Umbreon sprang at the two, teeth barred. He growled and hunched his back, glaring at the two. "Get out. This is my territory. Back off, weaklings. Or else." His eyes were narrowed, showing that he wasn't afraid and that he would stick to his word if they didn't leave.
