I love that picture. Personally, I like the idea that Cosmos is probably a reincarnation of Usagi. <3 Different person but similar soul.

Although personally, I've always had it rooted in my mind that Usagi is Cosmos. Whether it be reincarnation or way future version of Usagi... she's just way too similar to Usagi to not be Usagi. by the way, absolutely gorgeous picture! I absolutely love it~ All you artists make me jealous, lol.

In the manga it's stated no two people can co-exist in the same time line. When Sailormoon was in the same room with Neo Queen Serenity for prolonged time, Sailor Moon started to get dizzy and disappear. However, int he Stars, ChibiChibi pretty much lived there and never gotten sick or disappeared. Even though she states it as a fact in the book. Then in some interview I heard she said she wanted Cosmos to be ambiguous. So~ that's usually the basis of my theory D:

Anyway, there's lots of ways one could work around the timeline statement and the affinity between Cosmos and Moon. This is how I'm taught to think as a literary critic. My work follows me home!!! xp

My work follows me home!!! xp True, like for instance apparently the whole timeline of what it was originally got totally derailed because of Chibiusa. I'm betting that the Super and onward Mangas weren't suppose to happen-but thanks to her it did. ..Could it be she's the harbinger of doom?! xD;? But seriously, the looks don't really actually have anything to do with each other in a way. After all, if we went by looks then by that logic- the Maenads Maidens from Elysian could be Queen Nehellenia's relatives based upon the hairstyles being similar. Moon and Cosmos probably only share the fact that they do things to retain order. Chaos (when I looked it up) means: : a state of things in which chance is supreme ; especially : the confused unorganized state of primordial matter before the creation of distinct forms — compare cosmos. I chose that definition because it relates. While Cosmos means: : (1): an orderly harmonious systematic universe — compare chaos (2): order , harmony.Moon and Co. Aren't necessarily there to protect Order so much as they're there to keep the ones they love safe. Which means, they're siding with Cosmos naturally. Either way, thanks to Naoko (*Shaking fist at the plotholes.* Dx ) we can still debate this thing to death and back. So much fun. <3
