Introduction
Deep in the Redwood Forest there lies a hidden secret. Students from the local high school have been disappearing into there for years. No one knows what is there. No one dares to try to find out, for fear they would disappear as well. More people than ever before have disappeared within the last few months. Now authorities and other malicious forces have began to wonder what is going on. Still none of them dare to go into the Redwood Forest.

Story
Everybody's fantasized about it before. Don't lie. When you were little, you probably used to fantasize about being a Witch or Wizard, Maybe you even imagined going off to Hogwarts to help Harry and his friends. For Sterling Sterlite, however, that is not the case. Sterling is the most popular guy at his high school, and loving every minute of it. For Emma Ruggiero, it’s the complete opposite. Emma has always been the odd one out and dreamed of leaving this world to go on one of those magical adventures.
August 30th Emma goes missing. The whole school is shocked. Some think she committed suicide, others think she simply ran away. Still others think that she's out there somewhere, hiding in the dark forest, waiting to see if she is missed. Emma has been missing for two months, and it is now December 15. While walking home from school one day, Sterling is dared by his friends to go into the forest. Sterling is just a boy, and boys do what they can to impress their friends. He took the dare, and started into the forest.
This is where our story will begin - but some twists in the story might surprise Sterling as he goes through the forest.

Rules
You must read these rules before beginning the RP. There are some 'no duh' rules, but there are some that are specific to this RP.
1) Follow Gaia’s TOS
2) No godmoding or powerplaying EVER!
3) PM me all profiles with the title 'Redwood Forest' or 'Redwood Academy'. I like to check and make sure everything is set up correctly.
4) Be nice! If you don’t, people won’t like you, and you will get kicked out.
5) Don’t post until you are accepted by me! If you post before that, you WILL NOT get accepted, even if your profile was phenomenal.
6) Short posts are okay, but less than two sentences is unacceptable.
7) All OOC posts should be shown in some way ex: ((blah blah blah))
cool If you don’t post for more than three days/ three pages(unless we really get going, and three pages comes uber fast~!) of the RP, you will be kicked out. So, keep active! (This doesn’t count if you say beforehand that you are leaving for whatever period of time. I would like you to get your character alone if you do this.)
9) You do not have to read all the pages of the RP. I understand that over 10 pages is a lot, and I wouldn't want to join if I had to read all of those pages. This is okay because your characters wouldn't know what happened to the characters in the past if they weren't there.
10) These rules may be changed at any time by me. If you have another rule you would like me to add, tell me in either a PM or OOC

Character Profiles
There are more characters than just Sterling and Emma! I just knew before hand that those were going to be the first two characters.
So, the characters that you create must be human, and you may use any type of image for the picture (no inappropriate or ecchi ones~!). If you want to, you can describe your person in detail instead of that.
One more thing. If you want elemental magic, your specialty would be Elemental. You don't need to choose a specific element for your character to use, but you can say that your character uses mostly fire, water, wind, darkness, light, or earth. Sterling stepped forward. Twigs snapped from under his feet. He had only been walking for a few minutes, and the forest was already so thick that he couldn't see the sky or the sun. He felt trapped. There were hardly any animals on the ground, but he could hear the birds chirping happily from high about his head.
He took another step. "Why the heck did I accept that dare? This is stupid. I'm not going to be able to find my way back if I go much farther," He looked back the way he had come, "come to think of it, do I even know my way back now?" He asked himself and grimaced and sighed at his stupidness.

Emma laughed loudly at one of her friends' jokes. Suddenly, another one of her visions came on. There was a boy, walking through the forest...Redwood Forest...he was approaching the school. Emma immediately launched herself off to the heads' office. "Dude!" she addressed the head. He scowled at you but had long since given up on telling her not to call him that, "This guy named Sterling is coming. He'll be here soon. I think he'll be able to see the school!"

Sterling continued on, figuring that if he wandered in one direction far enough, he could eventually find the border of the forest. Or maybe the forest would just get thin enough that he could walk without tripping every other step. he didn't care which one happened, just that one of them did.

Emma Flew down the steps again, once again launching herself past her friends. She could still see him he had to be close. Suddenly she heard a ruffling in the trees. Emma froze.

Sterling had been looking carefully at his feet for some time, and as he took a step forward, he noticed that the sunlight was shining on the grass beneath his feet. He looked up to see a girl that he recognized. Her hair was dark, but her eyes were a burning blue, and he had always liked that about her. They had never talked to each other, but he did at least know her name.
"Emma?" He said, astonished. He blinked and looked closer, "It is you, Emma!" he took a step towards her, "Everyone thinks that your either dead, suicidal, or just messing with us! Wait," he paused, "How come you're here?" He had been so amazed, excited, and confused that he didn't bother to take in the scenery right in front of him and behind Emma, the gigantic school that wasn't visible from anywhere outside the forest.

"Oh, Mr. Popular decided to join my paradise. Damn I hate when My visions are true. Was being popular just not enough for you? Did you have to go and get in on my popularity?" Emma heard the cold words and couldn't figure out why she'd said them. Sure, Sterling was popular, but she hadn't really cared. He was just a kid.

"I guess, since I'm the only one that sees these things coming, Welcome To Redwood Academy!" Emma Replied in a sarcastic voice. "This academy is for those 'destined' few. Unfortunately for me, you are apparently destined to have everything!" she said and then turned and stalked back to her friends.

"Huh?" Sterling asked and Emma suddenly seemed to accept him and then hate him within the space of a second, "I'm still confused. Why is there a huge school building here?" He jogged to catch up with Emma.
