This PRP takes place in the Sea Side City of Ft. Lauderdale. Yomiko and Ritsu are just taking a stroll through the various places in the city that Yomiko once resided in during her exile from the Soul Society. Just a friendly 'getting together' if you must say. XD

A sleek black Solara cruised through the man cars that was riding the interstate she was on. Her black rims rotated as she furthered her journey down the road. Highway lights of I-95 reflected themselves off of her black tinted windows as the car continued it's journey. Yes, this was a very fresh car, indeed. On the inside, from what you can see, shown two small TV screens in the headrest...
Her appearance as Yomiko Shihouin changed, also. She still had that marvelous dark skin of hers, and those piercing cat-like golden eyes she had. Her hair was no longer the dark violet mane she had when she was in the Soul Society. It was now short, in the two stringed twist style that many people wore these days.
She remained concentrated on the road, as her GPS system guided her. The music in her car was blasting at alarming decibels. The music that was playing in the stereo system, now other than Young Jeezy. Yomiko looked over to the other passenger in the car and smiled at him.
"Never road in a car like this before, Ritsu?" She asked.

Ritsu's fingers dug into the seat and his eyes looked like they were about to pop out of his skull. The only difference about Ritsu was that his shinigami uniform was replaced with a smokey gray hoodie and jeans and his bright red scarf was switched with a deep ocean blue one. He felt like plugging his ears to block out the blaring music, but he wouldn't dare remove his hands from the seat, in fear of being sucked out of the car. He looked like a frightened cat, nails digging into the seat, eyes wide in fear, and shaking like crazy.
At Yomiko's question he laughed as if he was in pain, "Actualy, yes. My sister had a car like this..." He wanted to say that he still had nightmares about it, but he didn't want to be a partypooper. He kept his eyes locked on the road infront of them as if they were about to crash or something.

Yomiko continued to have her eyes on the road, not bothering to make eye contact with Ritsu. She didn't really have time to get into an accident, at least, not at this time. Her golden eyes concentrated on the road as she turned the Solara on the appropriate exit. Slowing down until she stopped to a halt. Now, they were at a red light. Golden eyes finally trailed over to Ritsu. Her face grew dull.
"You make it seem as though I can't drive...," Yomiko trailed off with a sigh. "I still can't believe you are wearing a scarf... in the dead heat..."

Ritsu seemed to calm down slightly as they slowed to a stop infront of a red light. He released his hands from the seat and covered his scarf with them as if he thought Yomiko was going to take his scarf off. He looked away and found himself nose to nose with a dog sticking its head out of the window of the car next to him. It let out an irritated bark and Ritsu nearly jumped out of his seat with a frightened squeak, catching a few eyes of other drivers. He sank down in his seat, completely embarrassed.

Yomiko couldn't help but let out a laugh as Ritsu slid down in his chair, embarrassed. It was funny to see him all scared and such, for some odd reason. Turning her attention back on the light, which at that time turned green, Yomiko continued her trek down the road. Her destination was downtown, towards the beach.
"Ah. Ritsu... have you ever seen the ocean?" She asked. "It's beautiful..."

Ritsu suddenly sat up as Yomiko mentioned the ocean. "No. Never." For once, he didn't have the fearful look in his eyes. He actually looked like he was enjoying himself.

Yomiko seemed to place a smile on her face. The tone in his voice seemed to be calm, unlike the usual timid tone it always had. The woman continued to drive as she mouthed the rhymes of her favorite rapper. Soon, she spoke up again.
"Well.. that's a good thing actually. We're about to arrive there in a bit. I really hope you aren't afraid of getting in the water...," Yomiko said with a laugh. "Unless you really are a cat."

An excited grin spread across his face as Yomiko told him that they were going to the beach. It was like he was an entirely different person, or maybe even his true self. He responded to Yomiko's cat comment with a playful, "Meow." He couldn't help busting out laughing at his own joke. As his laughter died down, he let out a sigh, remembering back when he was always like this, back when life was perfect.

Yomiko snickered. It seemed as though Ritsu loosened up a bit. She turned the car onto another road as they neared the beach. From where they were, you can see the waves crashing against the sand. She then turned into a parking lot, trying to find a spot. Once she found one, she parked her solara in it. She smiled.
"You ready? Wait...," Yomiko groaned. "Did you even bring a bathing suit or somethin'?" She asked him. She didn't bring herself one, but she knew there were shops near the beach that had them on sale. She smiled. "If you didn't, that's fine. I can always buy you one... since... I need one."

Ritsu watched in awe as the waves sprayed sea foam over the beach. Now he was even more excited. So excited that he forgot that he didn't know how to swim. He felt like leaping out of the car when it stopped in a parking spot, but he managed to stay calm. When Yomiko asked if he brought a bathing suit he replied, "Well, I was just going to jump in with my clothes on." He wouldn't really mind if he got his clothes soaked, but it looked like Yomiko needed to go shopping anyways. Ritsu was probably the only guy that would enjoy shopping (except for this gay guy who works at the Hot Topic near my house XD).

Yomiko only gave him a dull look when he informed her of his plans. Was this guy serious? Her golden eyes looked over to what Ritsu was wearing. Okay, now they BOTH had to go shopping. She just shook her head with a snicker as she opened her door. "Meh... let's go. I can't have everyone giving us weird looks..." She told him with a slight chuckle as she slipped out of her seat and onto the sidewalk. She smiled. "Now come on! We don't have all say, Ritz..." She said as she closed the door.

You could practically see the question marks floating over Ritsu's head as Yomiko inspected what he was wearing. As he got out of the car, his foot got caught on the door and he tripped, falling flat on his face. Now a LOT of people were giving the strange looks. He quickly got up, brushed himself off, and shut the car door. "We...better go." He whispered when he saw so many people staring at him.

Instead of yelling at the nosy crowd, Yomiko just grabbed Ritsu's hand and practically dragged him towards the exit of the parking lot. It was like she was mad at Ritsu, mostly annoyed at the fact that humans were THAT nosy. Yomiko grumbled some very harsh words under her breath before she let him go.
"Gawd. They don't have a life, do they?" She asked before she smiled weakly. "Sorry about the pretty foul language. Humans' curiosity can get annoying after a while..."

Ritsu had a guilty look on his face as Yomiko dragged him out of the parking lot. "Sorry." He muttered when she finally let him go. He listened as she ranted about humans, but he felt sympathy for them. "Well, wouldn't you be curious if something completely out of the ordinary happened? Also, the more you try to be inconspicuous, they'll be more and more curious." He grinned back at Yomiko.
