Ok - so who else is angry beyond reason after this week's episode Bloodline? X.X
Words cannot describe how ticked off I am. I was fine with the little tweaks they've made to the series, using the " I'm going to pretend I've never read the books," objective....
But now - now I'm just... RAWR RAWR RAWR RAWR!
THIS IS WRONG!
1. Jennsen doesn't come into the series till like Pillars of Creation.
2. Richard's Mother is supposed to be dead.
3. Jennsen and Richard did not have the SAME mother.
4. Jennsen and Richard are not brother and sister - but half siblings.
7. Zedd is not Jennsen's grandfather.
8. The " breath of life," IS NOT MAGIC! - the books made it seem like CPR!
9. THE BOXES OF ORDEN ARE SUPPOSED TO BE BLACK BOXES WITH LIDS! >o<
WTF!?!?!

Seriously, I was all cool with the whole Jennsen coming early (im glad they gave her the right hair color ^_^) and with Richards mom being alive that was all acceptable-ish but the boxes wtf! Thats not how they work, whats the point of the book of counted shadows then! GAAH! and please in the books Zedd so would have encouraged Richard to kill rahl with the power.

I want to know they're reasoning for doing things this way. I mean c'mon.. have they even read all of Terr's books!?
If they have then they would know this is not how it is!
WHY IN THE HELL AREN'T THE GARS LIKE I IMAGINED EITHER!?

What they did was turn the series upside down, they didn't just make little tweaks, they just turned the tables completely and god knows what's going to happen with the rest of the series now.
What about Jennsen and the man she's to fall in love with!?! D<

Hate to say it, i told you so. I knew right from the first episode (and whole-heartedly thought it) before it even began that it was going to be the worst thing to ever happen to SOT and that I would only be angry during the entire duration of the episodes and mini-series.
Even though i stopped watching since Episode 3, I'm 150,000% with you guys on this. Its completely unacceptable (with 'unacceptable' not even being the word strong enough to describe it). Something needs to be done. Two of the things i love most in life (SOT and Socom) have been butchered horribly and I'm just festering here in my anger with everyone else. Something needs to be done!
A petition? Spam the SOT forums? What can we do?

I'm actually glad that I haven't had the opportunity to watch any of it. With other stuff I've heard, and this, they shouldn't really market the books and miniseries together. They should say they got ideas off the books, rather than making the miniseries from the book.
But I definitely agree that something needs to be done, because this is completely unacceptable to SOT fans.

I haven't watched a single episode, and I'm not going to. :3
I think it might have been better if they had just made entirely new characters, and had those characters follow a story parallel to what was going on with Richard and the gang. :3 Or just made a completely different show entirely 'cause these arse holes suck so bad. >.<

I'm going to find an address and we all should write letters on how we as fans are disappointed in the series. I'm not sure what else to put but I think this idea might be the easiest way of doing it but I need to find the appropriate stuff.

yeah I've been able to kinda accept everything up until now. But it seems like every change they make gets worse and worse. There's no reason that I can see that they've needed to change it the way that they have.
I read the graphic novel Watchmen. And went to see the movie yesterday and it was the best book to movie adaptation I've ever seen. They only omitted things that weren't important to the story and they only minorly changed somethings.
When they said they would be expanding the book when the did the series back before it aired, I was excited I was expecting everything from the book plus extra stuff. Now they just seem to be mixing things up and adding things that effect the story of the whole series.
